River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Quiet- Beautiful- Spacious 2nd story with views of the Countryside, Southwest Mountains and Blue Ridge. Guests have walked to Barboursville and Barn 678 Vineyards. 25 minutes from Charlottesville. 11 wineries, 2 breweries & 1 Cidery within 10 miles. 40 minutes to the Shenandoah National Park. We are cooks & have furnished kitchen for those that like to cook. We sell local eggs, herbs, preserves, produce and honey harvested on the property. Access to the property is from an exterior stairway.

Views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and beautiful pastures are seen from all aspects of the house. Located close to I 64 and a short drive to Charlottesville and UVA, Richmond, wedding venues, Gordonsville, Orange, Monticello and Montpelier. The area is abundant in wineries and brewerys.
