You’ll love the Casita because of the neighborhood, it’s seclusion, the size, the quiet, the coziness. The Hideaway is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). Our old dog Hopi will greet you! Pets are limited to 3, with a $20.00 fee. If you plan on leaving your pet unattended for a long time please, advise us.

Welcome to La Casita! A beautiful example of a traditional southwest style adobe casita. Originally constucted circa 1900 as a farm house, La Casita has been utilized as a short term rental for the past 15 years. Featuring a private entrace and courtyard, charming decor, kitchen, bathroom with tub and shower, bedroom, mini-split heating and a/c, off-street parking, local tourist information and New Mexican literature, and an array of 90’s VHS movies! La Casita is a cozy, private studio space with a queen bed and a separate bathroom. The kitchenette is equipped for simple meals. There is a loveseat, dining table with two chairs, desk, hangers and a dresser. The front porch has seating and the private back patio has a lighted pergola, dining furniture, & Sandia mountain views. Balloon Fiesta Park is nearby & balloons fly nearby year-round. Great location near the zoo, Tingley Beach (hiking and biking trails near the river), and just blocks from downtown. Off street private parking and private patio area with a Jacuzzi hot tub! Perfect for relaxation.

Hiking paths start out the back door, yet all the fun of Albuquerque is only 20 minutes away.
