Hill Street Cottage offers a contemporary and relaxing get away in the heart of Portpatrick. The cottage is a stones throw away from the small beach and seafront and of course local pubs (often playing live music), open fires, restaurant's, many walks, golf and local amenities. It is perfectly situated to explore this attractive harbour village and other local attractions in Galloway. Whether you want to walk, cycle, explore or just relax, our cottage offers the perfect home from home.

Seaside retreat, 7 minutes walk to the shore.

Seaside home-from-home, tucked away at the back of the village, 7 minutes walk from the sea. (Longer on the way back uphill!) Portpatrick has a Post Office, bakery, cafe, bars, gift shops and restaurants. (Limited food shopping.) Hide away, walk the cliffs and glen, swim, golf, putt, fish, cycle. Enjoy dark skies and fresh air. Explore Wigtown (book town), Kirkcudbright (artists’ town), Castle Douglas (food town), Glenluce Abbey, St Ninian's Cave, Whithorn. Stranraer Sept Oyster Festival.

The Bullpen, Spoutwells Holiday Cottages.

The Bullpen is situated in quiet open countryside one mile from Stranraer. The property has just recently been completed and was part of the original farm buildings. Private Hot Tub. It is all on one floor and has an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge, super king size or twin bedroom and bathroom with separate shower. Close to golf courses and gardens. Also great for walking and cycling. Many attractions in the area include Logan Botanic Gardens, Wigtown Book Town and Mull of Galloway.

The ferries at Cairnryan are 14 minutes away. The self catering Lodge enjoys rural aspects, and is within walking distance of local bars, restaurants, shops and parks.

Cosy Hidden Gem w/ 2BR near Portpatrick

Retreat to the haven of Milker's Cottage, a lovingly restored former dairy cottage on our farm. The cottage is 10 minutes drive from Portpatrick and a few miles from Sandhead and Stranraer. The cottage, dating back to 1910, has been carefully and painstakingly renovated, filled with quirky curiosities, antiques and artwork. Walk into the bright, sunny kitchen, take off your shoes and appreciate the luxury of underfloor heating throughout, courtesy of the on-site biomass boiler.

A luxury holiday cottage consisting of a wing of Kildrochet House, an early 18th Century Grade B listed building. Set within 5 acres of it's own land and situated in the beautiful countryside of Wigtownshire, South West Scotland. We started this listing in 2013 but only put the bare essentials in. Only today, April 4 2018 have we actually finished it. This is why we have had no guests or reviews from Airbnb so far! You can find 5-star reviews for us on Trip Advisor.
