Perfect for two families or groups of up to 10 guests, with estate walks and frequent wildlife sightings, including red squirrels, osprey, roe deer and pine martens. After a day exploring, relax in the outdoor hot tub under the Highland sky.

Although secluded, the cottage is close to the charming victorian spa town of Strathpeffer and the market town of Dingwall. The picturesque fishing town of Ullapool and Ben Wyvis, one of the easier Munros, are both a short drive away. There are many wonderful walks, cycle tracks and fishing lochs close by.

This beautiful cottage is set in private gardens in the centre of Strathpeffer, a village steeped in history and famed for its spa waters in Victorian times. The Cottage was originally a doctors surgery in the early 1900's, then In the mid century was a tea room. Since that time it has been a private home. The perfect place to stay whilst exploring the highlands or driving some of the NC500.

Nicolson Cottage is cosy yet spacious with plenty of room for up to 5 people. Annexed to the owners home and set in the peaceful courtyard grounds of Mackenzie House it makes a comfortable, well equipped base for a relaxing Highland holiday.
