We took our 2 teenagers and dog away for a couple of nights to chill out & we done exactly that! The house was exactly what we were after, location was amazing, right on the banks of the loch, along with hot tub and coal fire & absolutely peace we have had the best weekend, didn't want to leave. George was very helpful, messaging us before and after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The village shop is literally just 2 mins walk with all your needs if you forget to bring anything. Very friendly and served the most amazing coffee and homemade cakes. Can't wait to return soon. Thanks George 😊

We hebben een topverblijf gehad. We zijn hartelijk ontvangen door de vader van de verhuurder, die ons ook nog geweldige tips heeft gegeven over de omgeving om te kunnen doen. Het terrein waar het huis op staat is prachtig en het is de moeite waard om een ommetje te maken en een heuvel te beklimmen, om de omgeving te bekijken. Een heerlijke rust hangt er over het hele terrein, waardoor je heerlijk bij kunt komen. Het huis zelf zit vol met luxe en is alles wat je nodig hebt tijdens een verblijf. Wij zijn niets tekort gekomen.

Cragowlet was a beautiful stay with big and beautiful rooms. Very specious and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom which is always a big plus. Brian as a host was wonderful! Helpful and ready to give guidence and advice for local activities if we needed it. Cragowlet was beautiful and we definitely want to go back if we're in the area again. Couldn't recommend more! 👌

Kim’s house was magical, it’s one of the best places a ever been. Kim communicated really nicely with us. The house was perfect and the views espectacular 😍

La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

We hebben een fantastische paar nachten gehad bij "Dail an Fheidh" het huisje van Elizabeth. Wat een prachtig huisje die aan alles voldeed, het uitzicht en wakker worden tussen de herten is magisch! Een supermarkt is niet om de hoek maar als je van tevoren je boodschappen doet of met het voetgangerspondje naar de overkant gaat maakt het heel niet uit. Na een tip van de host een heerlijke pizza gegeten bij een brouwerij op 15 min rijden. Er is veel te zien en te doen in de omgeving zoals Glenfinnan en Loch shiel en de Ben Nevis. Een plekje om tot rust te komen en te genieten, een plekje om zeker te onthouden en aan te raden voor iedereen!

We have really enjoyed staying at Ann's lovely home. It was clean, spacious and plenty of games for evenings and rainy days. The location is amazing and can easily explore Inveraray on foot. Would definitely love to return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay!! Lynn is an amazing host: very responsive, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. The home is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic view of the loch. There were seven of us (adults) and we were all very comfortable. The garden (yard) is large with soft, mossy grass, which our dogs loved! Helensburgh is not too far and offers nice places to eat (La Barca's) and fun stores for shopping (Tweedies). Highly recommend! 5 stars🌟

Très bel emplacement pour cet appartement. Il s’agit bien d’un appartement parmi d’autres dans l’abbaye. Belle vue sur le loch ness.

Nous avons passé trois nuits fabuleuses dans l'appartement de Sarah. Outre la vue (aussi magnifique que sur les photos), il est grand, confortable et particulièrement bien équipé. Parfaitement situé pour rayonner dans les Highlands, bref à recommander sans hésiter !

Great apartment with a lovely outside space and good views. Tastefully decorated. Perfect for our long weekend. Lots of pre-arrival information and clear instructions for arrival. Katrina was a great host, friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Would happily stay again

This a lovely flat and even had surprisingly good views, which I was not expecting but was delighted nonetheless. Great decor and vibe, would happily stay again and recommend to anyone.

Great host very responsive. The was place was lovely very comfortable and close to all the things you need a wee shop some pubs and some where to eat. Perfect spot for a wee getaway 😊

This place has got to be one of the best we have stayed at for location as the views from the accommodation were just stunning and right on Loch Etive which was also fantastic for paddle boarding being on the door step. Beautiful wildlife all around to watch through the huge living room windows that look out at Ben Cruachan and Loch Etive

Lovely place to stay. Chrissie gave very helpful instructions to find the accommodation as well as some good recommendations. Everything was as described and had everything needed for a quiet stay. Good fishing places nearby. Local cafe was great too. Chrissie was very friendly

Jakki’s spacious apartment had everything we could wish for. Lots of extras - basic foods to start us off and some goodies to make us feel welcome. Lots of little extras in the cupboards and drawers and toiletries in the bathroom. We were welcomed by Jakki’s husband on our arrival and were assured that they were there for us if there was anything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Thank you Frances! It was wonderful staying with you. We were only here for one night, but in that time we really enjoyed it. Frances was very helpful and helped us get from Port Appin to the accommodation, which is not a given. We would recommend anyone to come here. For those who want to experience Scotland's nature away from the tourist crowds, this is the place to be.

Sehr zu empfehlen für 1-2 Wochen mit Kindern (4&7) für Ausflüge in der Umgebung, egal ob Fähre auf die Isle of Mull oder Zug von Arrochard&Tarbet nach Corrour (sehr einsam, super für Wanderungen) oder die Wanderung von Inveraray Castle zum Dun Na Cuaiche Watchtower). Die Gastgeber waren super hilfsbereit und sehr diskret, immer bereit zu helfen oder Tipps zu geben. Küche perfekt ausgestattet, auch alle Basic Zutaten, tolles Esszimmer, super gemütliches Doppelbett. Insgesamt eine perfekte Airbnb Erfahrung! Vielen Dank!

Absolutely brilliant location with spectacular views, the cottage was very private and peaceful, host was very informative and very helpful! Would definitely recommend!

The accommodation was lovely, really clean, spacious, peaceful and with lots of little extras. Anna and Peter were very friendly, welcoming and responded quickly to any questions. To be recommended!

From the personal greeting as we arrived, decaf coffee as discussed, plenty of local information and always being on hand as well as ensure we had privacy. comfortable bed. Excellent kitchen. it took me 4 days to realise there was no microwave. Not that I needed it . Outdoor seating at Loch, in bothy garden as well as the back catching the sunshine. Highly highly recommended xx

Que dire de ce petit havre de paix sur lequel le coup de cœur avec ma famille a été immédiat ! Une maison où l’on se sent chez soi, avec des équipements de qualité (cuisine, literie, salle de bain etc). Tout est pensé avec soin et décoré avec délicatesse. La maison sent bon la douceur, avec une petite attention gourmande à notre arrivée. Les vues sur les extérieures sont incroyables. Un foyer au milieu des champs, des animaux, de l’eau… Bref, une maison dont nous continuerons de rêver encore longtemps et dans laquelle nous souhaiterions revivre nos jolis moments en famille rapidement ! Merci au propriétaire et à Linda pour ces moments inoubliables 🫶🏻🌞

Our fifth visit to Hamilsmay. The children are now 15 and 12 and still beg to come back. It’s a super relaxing week that we all look forward to - we read, did jigsaws, played cards, walked miles, and spent a great deal of time starring out the window at the red squirrels, seals, birds right there. It’s just the perfect spot - so special to all of us. Eileen hosted us this time. We all love her - she knows everything about the area and we felt looked after. We’ll be back! Thank you!
