Hummingbird

Hummingbird sits about 50 feet from our house and about 150 feet from the shore of Joy Bay. Looking out the windows, you only see woods and water. There are no neighbors in sight. We have a dog who sees it as her duty to give everyone an enthusiastic greeting. The building is 12x16 and has a small bathroom and kitchenette. For cooking, there is an induction cooktop, a toaster oven, and pots and pans. The patio is 10’ by 16’ and has a table with 2 chairs, a gas grill, and an outdoor cooktop.

Searching for a relaxing retreat? We offer a stunning residence in Gouldsboro, Maine, on a private road just steps from the ocean. This home features a private ocean access & a spacious yard. The interior showcases an open Kitchen & Dining area, a cozy Living Room with stunning ocean views, & a sunroom perfect for enjoying morning coffee. 3 bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor, while 1 bedroom is situated in the basement, with a full walkout entrance, separate sitting area, & a private bath.

Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Meadow Point cottage is located on a very quiet five acre property with panoramic views of Frenchman's Bay and Mount Desert Island. It takes about thirty minutes to drive over to MDI and Acadia National Park. The property has a private beach for kayaking and woods with a picnic area and fire pit. It is a wonderful spot for walking and viewing wildlife; ducks, eagles, shore birds, seals and deer.
