Foster House - A Gathering Place

The historic Foster House is one of the oldest homes in Oakes. The Foster House was built by a doctor in the late 1800s and the basement was used as an office for his practice. Later in the 40's the house was purchased by A.O. Foster, the owner of the first car dealership in Oakes as well as a gas station. The master bedroom is located in the basement and hosts a king size bed with attached bathroom. The main floor hosts the kitchen, dining, living and half bath. The living room sofa makes into a queen size bed. The upstairs has one bedroom with a queen size bed and deluxe bathroom with jetted tub and Keurig coffee maker.

Droptine Lodge

New hunting lodge built in SE North Dakota. We are five miles from the SD border. Great public and private ground for ducks, geese, and pheasants. Lodge is next to Hyatt Slough and Sand Lake Wildlife Refuge. We are also a licensed outfitter in North Dakota. Mainly specialize in whitetail bowhunting. Great little cabin. Very new, 6 bunk beds, hide a bed sofa, kitchen and bath w/shower washer/dryer. On 3 acres w/heated breezeway for dogs or you can bring them in. Full stove and fridge and is right across the street form the Old Schoolhouse Bar where you can get pizza and drinks and meet local farmers to gain permission to hunt! Base of $90 per night, $30 per person per night for each guest over two. $60 cleaning fee at the end of your stay.
