'The Duke' Western Space on the River

'The Duke' is a John Wayne inspired western themed space perfect for a quiet getaway to Ruidoso and located on the main road into town. This is the downstairs to our primary home that we have converted to 'The Duke' with John Wayne western décor, comfortable living room with mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Don't forget to peek into the kid friendly 'cupboard under the stairs' Harry Potter inspired closet. Relax each day on the 6' by 40' covered deck listening to the Rio Ruidoso river below

Cozy Mountain Casita

Cute, clean & cozy guest house located off the beaten path 20 minutes from Ruidoso & Capitan. Close to Bonito & Alto Lake and Ski Apache. Great area for hiking, biking, hunting, fishing or a peaceful couples retreat. The home can accommodate 2 adults comfortably. There is no cable television however we do provide firestick (Netflix, Prime, etc…) and WiFi. During times of heavy snow book at your own risk. Four wheel drive or chains will be necessary. We are two miles off state highway 37. NO PETS

Beautiful 2 story 2 bed 2 bath cabin has an AMAZING unobstructed view of Sierra Blanca Mountain, and sits perched high among the pines in an attractive neighborhood. Two queen bedrooms, full kitchen, beautiful red efficient fireplace, heating and cooling, large windows from den area facing the mountains. WiFi, TV w/DVD player and Roku upstairs, and smaller Roku TV downstairs. **Since the June 2024 fire, cabin is intact - please see updated added pic titled "New landscape view after June 2024"**

Kitchenette has fridge & microwave, no stove. Beautiful views w/private access to Bonito River right off deck.This area doesn’t flood. Covered area for parking.

It’s a short drive to Ski Apache & Inn of the Mountain Gods casino. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, neighborhood, & it’s quiet and peaceful . This cabin is great for couples, solo adventurers, & business travelers. This is 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, cabin, approximately 600 sq ft with hot tub.

Modern Mountain River Cottage Upper Canyon

BY THE GRACE OF GOD (and maybe a bit of my sheer grit) this little lady is standing post 2024 fires/floods……..She is still and will continue to be a pristine cozy cottage on the Rio Ruidoso that offers an historic Upper Canyon stay. To be clear the neighborhood does show remnants of its former self but in no time will be stunning again……Further I want to thank all my former guests for their outpouring of love and support through this most surreal time……..awesomely good people in this world!

The cabin is a remodeled 1950's cabin; Features include-covered deck in front of the cabin with seating - second covered deck in the back with private hot tub, gas fire table, seating, and gas BBQ grill. Inside has two smart televisions, cable, Bluetooth speakers, spacious whirlpool with LED lighting and sync BT speakers. There is Wi-Fi, a DVD player, and a front drive parking. Enjoy deer from the patios, turkey, bird viewing, take a walk down to the river or downtown which is minutes away.

(ADULTS ONLY. NO KIDS) (NO PETS ALLOWED) Unplug from the city to soak up in nature and experience a romantic getaway with an amazing sunset view at our ZIA Geo Dome at El Mistico Ranch. El Mistico Ranch consist of 30 acres of natural high desert land with natural spring waters, nearby Lincoln National Forest as our next door neighbor. Between the shops, museums, historical monuments and local brewery, this town is the quiet escape you have been searching for. Enjoy our little casita perfectly located just off US 380. Sit next to the warmth of a wood burning stove in the winter, or enjoy cool evening throughout the summer. Hiking, skiing, racetrack and casino are all nearby. Ruidoso is about a 35 minute drive from Casa de Luna.
