Hakeem's Luxury Suites Apt: 3C

I was very skeptical at first since it was my first time using Airbnb in Cameroon. I wasn’t sure if the facility matched it's description, what the customer service would be, how secure it was, and so forth. However, when I arrived Hakeem's, everything exceeded my expectation. The front desk got all our luggage and thank goodness there was an elevator. I was most impressed about the fact that housekeepers cleaned everyday and linens and towels were changed every other day. The level of general maintenance of the facility was top notch, something which is not very common in Cameroon. Standby Generator and reliable WiFi I am so thankful to all the staff and the care they provided throughout our stay. The Manager (Felicita), our Chef (Severine), the Receptionist (Emmanuel) and the Security guard who went above and beyond to wash our car whenever he could. My hope is that such businesses survive and strive in the long run that’s why I am going to promote this facility any way I can.

Lovely place and to a high standard which is quite difficult to see in the country. Also it is exactly like on the picture, and a soothing heaven from an often busy world outside. I’d recommend it. The views are also amazing. One recommendation would be better cutlery, the knife was not sharp which made it difficult to use, and having some basic spices like salt or pepper because there are no stores nearby would be nice but of course a must.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. This is a beautiful two bedroom apartment with a spacious living room and dining room in the heart of New Town. It’s situated at Saker Junction and close to shops, bakery, markets, banks, and other amenities. The building is very secure with 24/7 security guards, it’s situated by the road and has a great view of the ocean from the balcony.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lenny’s place she was a fantastic host. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. Lenny provided arrival drinks and snacks, there was fruit in the fruit bowl and she was so kind and helpful. Throughout our stay Lenny was very responsive and lives in the same building so always available for anything you may need. The location was great and the most comfortable beds we have had in a long time. The apartment is a good size and has a balcony from the lounge area. There is dinner available at the properly and a bar and a shop just opposite. We felt very safe and relaxed there too, the property was secure and also had 24 hour security. We loved our stay and would 100% recommend, one of the best Air B&B’s I have stayed in. We are already excited to return. Thank you Lenny and team for a fabulous stay, we felt like one of the family :-)
