The Tipi has amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and all the wonders our little farm and community has to offers. We are convenient to many local attractions like hiking, swimming, brewery and vineyard tours and yet secluded enough to heal your stress, enjoy time with your family or simply a special time away from the grind. Spectacular Mountain views

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery when you stay in this beautiful, brand new space. A transformed outbuilding has become a quaint guest cottage with all of the amenities of home. Full kitchen w/all cooking essentials, K-cup coffee machine, new appliances, granite counter tops, full bath w/private shower and a jacuzzi tub with mountain views. Wake up in your master bedroom to spectacular mountain views. Living room w/electric fireplace, large screen TV. Your own private deck/pergola/gas grill.

Edifice Rex

Edifice Rex, a 300 square foot studio apartment, is only one mile and less than 2 minutes from Interstate 81 yet offers a very bucolic, peaceful setting. Countless cultural, historical and recreational opportunities exist within a 30 mile radius. The James River and Appalachian Trail are but minutes away. The name, "Edifice Rex" is to honor the caretaker on the property, a German Shepard named Rex. You will not have to interact with him ( he wears a radio collar) but he welcomes attention.

Located in the pristine Mill Gap Valley. At night you can reach out and touch the stars. National Forrest is close by too. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that can only be offered in Highland county. The farm along with our Maple Syrup is certified Organic. From our apple trees to our hay and pastures. We are Organic! If you would like a tour of our farm or maple operation, let us know! By September 2020, there will be a new outdoor living area with a hot tub and dining.

The Sanctuary

Nature lovers paradise! Named "The Sanctuary" for the place you can UNPLUG, unwind & find your peace! Perched up high on nearly 60 acres- you are sure to get fresh air & the rest you are searching for! Only 4 miles to Wintergreen, 6 miles to Sherando lake and backs up to the Blue Ridge Parkway there are plenty of things to do OR just relax and enjoy the crickets & stars! With crazy careers, growing kids & constant hustle- everyone needs a hide out like this every now and then!

Lazy Acres Cabins, on farm close to campuses & VHC

Comfortable and cozy log cabin on a beautiful farm looking down the Shenandoah valley with stunning views of the Blue Ridge mtns. Dog friendly, Wi Fi, central heat/air. Peace and quiet yet only 2 miles to the Virginia Horse Center and 5 miles to downtown Lexington, Washington & Lee and VMI campuses. A covered porch with a gas grill and beautiful views. The Cabin at Morris Orchard.

Enjoy a peaceful stay in our early 1800’s log cabin. The Cabin sits at the heart of Morris Orchard, a Virginia Century Farm. From the cabin porch, you will look across the pond and enjoy a view of High Peak Mountain, apple orchards, hayfields, and cattle grazing in the pastures. The cabin has been beautifully renovated, preserving the charm and history of the cabin, while adding all the modern amenities you would expect.

Carol's Cottage. 1/2 mi to VHC. 2 mi to VMI, W&L!

Carol's Cottage is the closest accommodation to the Virginia Horse Center at 1/2 mile to the main entrance. The Cottage overlooks the Oak Hill section of the VHC. We are just two miles from Lexington, W&L and VMI. We are 5-20 minutes from most of the wedding venues in the area. ***PLEASE inquire with us regarding RATES for Graduation and Parents weekends.***
