The Big Dipper - Geo-Desic Dome

Sleep amid the stars and the deer in the Big Dipper Geo-Desic off-grid dome. A perfect getaway for 2 (or on your own), you’ll sleep comfortably in a queen-size bed with all of the must-have amenities, including an in-unit compost toilet, running water and an outdoor shower. Cook meals over the fire or grill and relax under the stars in the wood-fired hot tub (seasonal). Enjoy some modern comforts while getting up close with nature so you can truly unwind. Just 10 minutes from the beach!

La Isla-Safari tent on an island with a hot tub!

This little gem of a spot is on a secluded island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The sound of the rapids will lull you to sleep in your magical tent perched right over the water! With all of the modern conveniences including hot water, outdoor shower, bar fridge, wifi and well appointed outdoor kitchen. This year we are building a treehouse on the island so although we will ensure no construction takes place during your stay, there will be construction materials around on the island

Enjoy a private retreat experience. Private entrance to bedroom suite/sitting area complete with spa-like bathroom. Entrance foyer provides basic meal prep area with small convection oven and one pot induction burner. Bedroom/sitting area includes bar fridge, microwave, kettle,coffee maker, teas and coffee. Shared chest freezer also available. BBQ and outdoor kitchen wash up area near accommodation. Complementary access to 18 acres of private property which includes trails, and lounge areas.

Enjoy 3 season lake access for kayaking & canoe. Year round trails for hiking, snow shoeing, exploring etc. Beautiful scenery and wildlife in a peaceful, private setting, relax and unwind by the fire! We look forward to having you! Stunning 360 degree views of the majestic St. Lawrence River. This tiny, basic cottage is accessible only by boat and offers an 80’ concrete dock. Incredible sunrises and sunsets. No wifi but excellent cell service. Cottage is basic but views are fantastic. Scorpion Island is a unique experience in the heart of the 1000 Islands just east of Gananoque.
