Nestled between Toronto and Montreal, we are the perfect destination for those needing some quiet time while visiting the 1000 islands. Build a bonfire, go for a swim, explore your surroundings by canoe or on foot. There's lots to do. Or, do nothing at all. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened in porch while listening to loons watching hummingbirds and fireflies. And breathe!

Beautiful Lake Home in South Eastern Ontario

Our house is a wonderful place to enjoy being on a lake. You will be staying in our home where we live with our cat when we do not have airbnb guests. When we have guests, we live in a tiny house in the backyard and are available if needed. There is no landline but cell phone service is good. Internet is sometimes slow. It is not a good fit for large groups who are noisy or families with very energetic children because we have close neighbours who enjoy peace and quiet.

Stunning 360 degree views of the majestic St. Lawrence River. This tiny, basic cottage is accessible only by boat and offers a 80’ concrete dock. Incredible sunrises and sunsets. No wifi but excellent cell service. Cottage is basic but views are fantastic. Scorpion Island is a unique experience in the heart of the 1000 Islands just east of Gananoque. Howe Island Bunkie: A warm welcome to anyone looking for a private escape to relax, kayak to another island, use your bike, etc. Cabin sleeps 2 with separate bathroom. Property includes kayaks , peddle boat, firepit (wood provided), cards, board games. Cabin has electricity with mini-fridge, microwave, kettle, tea, coffee (Keurig), dishes, BBQ, fan, bedding provided. Bring your food, special beverages, and relax. Pets stay free.

Our cottage has heat and air conditioning. We can communicate in French and English.
