Jägerhaus - Mountain Lodge on Private Estate

We've hosted lovely folks from all over the world since 2017 in our family home--and now, we embark on a renovation journey. Changes for 2/1/26 + New sleeping arrangement; double-bunk bed replaced with 1 King bed + House capacity changes from 10 to 8 + Upgrading living room sofas and chairs + Repainting 3 rooms This is just the start of a broader vision we expect to complete by 2028. Off grid yurt in the pines, with great view of mystic miner and Terry peak above, on mile 100 of beautiful Mickelson trail. Get away to nature (with style and a unique stay)....goulay. not for non-outdoorsy as there is only a half bathroom outhouse, no running water (you get to port it in, great spring pump at nearby Englewood trail-head on Mickelson and running stream for a dip at bottom of hill), no electricity, and a great little wood stove. A unique, secluded, rustic cabin nestled on 10 acres of Ponderosa pine forest. Enjoy morning coffee on the sunny, spacious deck, afternoon picnics by the creek, a cozy wood fire in the evening and a sky full of stars at night. Only 12 minutes from great food and cafes in Spearfish; 20 minutes to Deadwood. The cabin is best for couples, families and groups of close friends.
