Surf Cottage - Quirky Tiny Home

Retreat to our unique, tranquil and quirky Surf Cottage. Our Tiny Home is minutes away from the beautiful town of Mumbles. Walking distance to both Langland bay and Caswell bay beaches, perfect for relaxing or catching the waves. PLEASE NOTE: It is warm and dry with a modern insulated roof, hot water etc But it’s close to nature, suited to the outdoorsy, adventurous soul, who doesn't mind the sound of rain outside or the occasional spider/creepy crawly that makes its way in from the garden. :)

Self contained space in colourful artist’s house

Our Airbnb is a colourful, cosy and creative private space attached to our mid century bungalow. It has its own entrance, kitchenette, double bedroom and en-suite shower room. We are in a quiet yet convenient, walkable location for the beaches, coast path, Oystermouth Castle, shops, restaurants & bars in the village of Mumbles. There is free private parking directly outside the house and we are within a 10 min walk of Mumbles village in one direction and the beaches in the other direction.

Close to the beach, restaurants and castle, my centrally-located house in the much loved village of Mumbles is the perfect place for a family or group getaway! “Tŷ Glas” was my home for 12 years and having now moved nearby, I have renovated the property ready to share it and welcome visitors to the area to enjoy their escape to the Mumbles coast. This beautifully presented and fully refurbished holiday cottage was originally built in 1892 and is situated on the edge of a quiet wooded area above Underhill park. It is a 5 minute walk from the beaches of Rotherslade and Langland and a 10 minute walk to Oystermouth castle and the village of mumbles. It has private parking for 2 vehicles in a double car port. Parking is also available at the roadside above the cottage. Nearby activities: watersports, surfing, fishing, golf, walking.

We swapped our lovely Narrowboat on the Grand Union for a cosy, pet friendly chalet for two with a distinct Narrowboat feel. Ideal for surfers and walkers, small, but perfectly formed with all the romance of a live aboard by the seaside. This land locked chalet has everything you could possibly need, tucked away between the Mumbles Cricket Club and the world famous Wales Coastal path. Direct Private access to the Coastal Path nearby, at the top of the road for Guests and Residents.

Your space is on the ground floor of our sea-front home in Mumbles, offering uninterrupted views of Swansea Bay. From the suite, you can see Mumbles Lifeboat Station to the right and Oystermouth Castle to the left. The suite features a king-size bed, corner sofa (also a sofa bed), full size fridge, table and chairs, a work desk, storage, shower room, 50” TV, and WiFi. Trampoline at the back. Please note, no cooking facilities are provided but we do have bowls, plates, glasses etc.
