The Hideaway at Mill Creek

We welcome 6 persons, however 4 adults max. Here you will find nestled in the woods atop a beautiful hill overlooking Mill Creek, a short distance from the Chesapeake Bay, an architect's home. With beautiful sunrises and sunsets, this hideaway gives you an escape from everyday life. Relax on the patio with a book, out on the water kayaking, fishing or crabbing off the dock or sitting watching the wildlife. You will never forget the views or the sight of the sailboats in for a rest from the bay.

Blue Pearl Cottage on Robinson creek in historic Urbanna, VA awaits your relaxing stay. Swing in the hammock on the covered porch while listening to bird's, ospreys, & an occasional bald eagle on the creek. Kayak to the Rappahannock rivah from the dock. Walk or take a bike ride into the town of Urbanna for shopping, dining, entertainment, museum's, marinas, farmers markets, bands on 2nd Saturdays & so much more. We are 1 mile from town center. Many surrounding towns offer wineries, events, etc.

Built in 1891, this farmhouse has been totally renovated by a professional designer. The Cottage is filled with coastal colors and accessories so it feels fun and updated but still retains the feeling of walking into a well loved family beach cottage. We are pet friendly as any beach cottage should be and love seeing our guests and their pets enjoying the cottage. Nestled in the forest, on 35 acres is an ideal getaway for any small family. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are excellent dining options nearby. Beaches are close by with rental options and quaint shops in the picturesque nearby town. The 900 sq ft cottage has 2 bedrooms upstairs with a full bath and a tub. Downstairs is a family room, full kitchen, ½ bath, dining area, front screened porch and back deck overlooking the woods. The main house is owner occupied.
