The home was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely stay here again! Grace was super quick to respond to any questions and the sauna was amazing!! I highly recommend booking here!

We had a great stay! Ashley was so wonderful trying to help me get a small skiff boat rental, unfortunately I think we were just ahead of season in the area but she went above and beyond to try to make it happen. She is so responsive and helpful. The house and yard is adorable and you can tell so much love went into it! Everything was spotless and very comfortable!

Lovely home and a lovely location… Our family enjoyed the Easter holiday weekend and we were able to rest, reconnect and relax. Hope to be back again next year :-)

One of the very best Air BnB rentals we've ever had. The other one we normally use in the NN was rented for the dates we wanted. This one was available, it looked good, so we gave it a try. It's tied as our #1 favorite place to stay. We'll be back here next year as it is so close and convenient to everything and the home was terrific!

We had a relaxing weekend at the river. We had so much privacy and were super happy with the house

it was just right for my family for Easter weekend and local business we had to take care of. we were even able to check out the local eating spots and movie/entertainment park.

Our stay at Maria and Brad’s home was wonderful. Their house is a home filled with comfortable amenities and special touches. The towels are plush and the beds are so comfortable. Our family enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing everyday. We caught and steamed some crabs with the provided crab trap. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dinnerware, and wonderful appliances. The creek is so peaceful and close to the home. We stayed for 6 days and only experienced one rainy day and still enjoyed the outdoors by relaxing in the large screened in porch. My husband and sons had the privilege to join Brad one morning for trout fishing which were so tasty on the grill. Communication with Maria and Brad was quick and delightful.

We loved staying at Dale and Bonnie’s home. We went for a wedding and it was the perfect location. The house was perfection. The lawn was gorgeous and everything was in great condition, beds were comfortable and it was easy to access. Now for the town…the house is a very short walk to the “Local” coffee shop. Livi’s market is a great spot to grab some wine and cheese. Dear Neighbor is an exceptional woman’s shop that is to die for. Ride the house bikes (very nice I might add) to the tides for lunch - get the piña colada. If you have a car drive a short distance to White Stone and go to Adrift for dinner. This house is a little secluded oasis in the middle of town…a perfect getaway for a long weekend… just what the doctor ordered. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved staying at Bernadette’s place. It is exactly as described in her listing-peacefully tucked away in a beautiful private setting. It’s the perfect get-away where you can relax. Comfy beds, clean spaces, beautiful yard, and lots of extras. It’s definitely a place we would return to.

This apartment is very comfortable, clean and private. It is attached to the main house by a breezeway but the entrance is on the side so very private. You have access to the entire yard which is beautifully maintained with flowers and many bushes trees and plants. We enjoyed the deck a lot and although the house isn’t on the water you still have a nice view of the water. TV is super host and very friendly and easy to talk to. He gave us extra treats that we enjoyed and appreciated. Thank you! And we would definitely love to come back next time we are able to get away.

We stopped here to break up a very long drive so we only stayed one night but Jacqueline was very friendly and accommodating. We were pretty delayed on our drive but she made sure we got into our room ok and introduced us to her dogs. We didn’t get a chance to explore but the property looked beautiful and peaceful. Definitely a great place if you love dogs. Our little daughter LOVED them, but my wife tends to be a bit more apprehensive. Overall, very nice rooms and quite spacious. A good place for a longer stay.

This was our third stay at Clifton, so we and our 2 dogs obviously like staying there. The location is perfect for getting around Matthews as we continue to explore that part of the region. Very nice stay and we look forward to coming back. Bart and Sharon Cameron November 2024

Frank was a great host! We hit traffic and got in super late, and he was very accommodating! We hope to head back in the future when we can actually get to stay longer and enjoy some wine!

My stay at Rebecca's was peaceful quiet and very beautiful. Rebecca's Place was very clean and very accommodating from my visit.

Salty Sisters is a wonderful place to stay! The views are lovely and the skylight in the kitchen is awesome giving lots of natural light in the space. I worked here for 2 days during a snow storm and all was quiet and beautiful. The studio is large and has everything you need for you and your fury friends, including a private fenced backyard. Rebecca was proactive and responsive and allowed me to check in early due to the arriving storm system. I loved being here in the snow and overlooking the snowy bay. Also, the studio has gone through a bit of a renovation since the photos were taken and looks even better. This is a great place and I will definitely return and recommend.

Had a great time at the Elderberries cottage! The views were spectacular, and you could take them in from the enclosed porch, the open deck, and even the living room. The entire setup was perfect for a vacation/remote work getaway, and the kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great, and the smart TV supported pretty much any streaming service you'd want. Rachel was friendly and super responsive; we hope to stay there again sometime.

The treehouse is in a nice quiet area and a convenient distance to Busch Gardens. Ruben is a wonderful host - he gives clear instructions and responds quickly to any questions. It was very clean, and check in was simple. The outdoor lights on the tree look beautiful at night. The playground is awesome (and I’m sure the pool is wonderful, we just happened to stay in the off season). There’s an additional bathroom downstairs as well as another room with bunk beds. Definitely recommend!

We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

...I didn't know what to expect, as one never does. Cheryl provides way more than any hotel in the region. I have been comfortable from the moment that I arrived. Every little discovery of the amenities is actually joyous. She is very attentive to the subtleties of hosting! The cottage views the water and the treeline...so peaceful, and the wildlife is rare and amazing, you never know what you are going to see. I will stay here again based off my first experience. Thank you Cheryl for sharing this wonderful place.

Quiet and cozy place for a weekend getaway. Check-in nd check-out were very easy and the host was very flexible and friendly!

Great escape from the city! Beautiful setting and very clean. The host was very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay again when in the area visiting family. Always an added bonus when we can travel with our pup!

If you’re looking for a getaway in a tranquil setting this is perfect. Great for lovers of the water too. A few museums, country stores/markets and seafood vendors nearby. If you venture further you’ll bump into some boutique shopping.

This is a wonderful place on a large creek off the Chesapeake Bay. This place oozes with charm and ambiance and feels so peaceful. We spent the first day just relaxing and doing nothing but looking at the water and chilling on the front porch. The house is updated on the inside and has a large lot with kayaks and a fishing pier. Great hiking at the natural preserves in the area too. We're grateful to the hosts for opening their home to us and we'll definitely come back.
