a private oasis

Enjoy this spacious two story house located between the MacDonald and MacKay bridges! We have everything needed for a relaxing stay, including a comfortable king bed, wifi, TV with 4K Apple TV, full kitchen, and a private back yard with a patio. There is a second airbnb unit at the front of the house, however, there are no shared spaces and no doorway connecting the two units. I live here for part of the year and rent it out short term while away. If you smoke please do so outside of the house.

Greet the morning from your cozy bed, or wrap yourself in a cozy blanket and enjoy on the deck or snuggled up on the sofa in front of the fire. Kabən is a short drive to the city centre, but trust me, you won't want to leave once you arrive and breathe in the sea air at your own little sanctuary.

Find tranquility by the lake 30 minutes from downtown Halifax and 15 minutes from the airport. Have your morning coffee on the dock, relax in the hot tub, explore the lake by canoe, kayak or stand up paddleboard and then cook a gourmet meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. With high speed internet & big tv you can work remotely or chill with a show, but you won't want to miss the spectacular sunset! Note: this is the lower level & we live upstairs. You'll hear our steps, closing doors, etc.

Welcome to Edgewater. Our garden suite is a completely private,separate suite. Guests have their own private entrance. Overlooking gardens and lake, you may enjoy spectacular sunrises and moonscapes. Listen to loons call as they locate one another on the lake. The suite has a comfortable sitting room, with dining table, and equipped kitchenette ( toaster, microwave, coffee press, kettle), ( there are no cooking facilities). Off the sitting room is a cozy bedroom, and private bathroom.

Renovated April 2025. Cozy space on a quiet cul-de-sac in Bedford. Ideal for 2 people! Twenty mins from airport/Halifax. Great location for trips to South Shore and wine country (Valley). Walking distance to the Bedford Waterfront (DeWolfe Park), Lebrun Centre, Sobeys grocery stores and restaurants. The BMO centre and shopping malls are a short drive away. Five min walk to the express bus route and a 15 min walk to the regular bus route. Enjoy!
