We had a wonderful stay at Kimiko’s Beach Loft! The space felt warm, welcoming and so so cozy with the wood burning fireplace. We had it going all weekend! The outdoor space was just as awesome as the indoor. Kimi and Scott thought of it all - we had everything we needed. We checked out some antique spots down the road, had a dip in the ocean, enjoyed the hot tub and cooked all weekend! It truly was a special weekend!

We chose this place because it was close by and it is Winter. We had a big snow storm the day of our arrival. Fortunately we only had a 20 min drive and yet it felt like we were in the woods. Robert greeted us and showed us around his lovely home. It was a place where the whole family could spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together. All eight of us declared it was the best family Christmas we had in a long time. The beauty could be seen from every window. We were provided with everything we needed to have meals together and to play games and the young adults loved the hot tub. Robert had a beautiful Christmas tree set up and there was lots of little cozy spots to have one on one chats with each other. We realized after meeting Robert that he would be so cool to hang out with but he had other family plans. We are seriously considering making it a new Christmas Tradition.

What a beautiful property and house - situated right on the ocean above a tidal basin, with stunning views and sunsets, and a gorgeous deck with all amenitites, BBQ, and large comfortable outdoor couch. The garden below is also lovely, with bubbling creek running down to the sea and little stone bridge. Relaxation is a given in this place! The beds are super comfortable, with luxurious bedding and dreamy mattress (I think we will get ourselves an Endy!) Bathrooms on each level were squeaky clean with tons of drawer storage. It was a good situation for my 93-year old mom who has some mobility issues, as she could sleep in the main floor bedroom, with bathroom nearby too. Kitchen was small but functional and well-equipped. The cute town of Chester is only 10-15 mins drive away, with grocery stores, etc as well as some lovely little gift shops. We had a really nice time, thank you Greg!

Absolutely loved our 12 nights stay at this stunning Airbnb in Halifax! We came as a group of 10 for my brother’s wedding and the house was beyond perfect. The place is massive, clean, elegant, and super private—ideal for a big family gathering. The ground floor living area became our favorite hangout spot, giving us unforgettable family moments. With 5 spacious bedrooms and a driveway that easily fit over 10 cars, we never felt crowded even when we hosted a dinner with friends. The host was outstanding—very responsive and helpful. We had a minor issue with a shower, and they quickly sent over a video to guide us through, which was incredibly thoughtful. Also, when we reported a small accidental damage, the host graciously waived it. That kind of support is rare. Advice for future guests: If you're planning a trip with family or friends, this is hands-down the best place to stay in Halifax. We were celebrating a 50th birthday with a spa day nearby. The 4 bedrooms was a dream! The house had all we needed and then some. The host was amazing from beginning to end. Responsive. Proactive. Friendly. We spent 2 stormy nights and we're cozy the whole time. Thanks for the great weekend.

We Had a family reunion “staycation”!! This Was a perfect spot. Open space for the play pen and baby toys! Beautiful view & yard. We brought our own groceries and stayed in. The kitchen was very workable and had all the kitchen tools we could have needed. The wood stove was such a relaxing mood setter. The outdoor hot tub was lovely! (2 ppl) The deck was perfect for enjoying the outdoors with babies! Host had loads of little fine touches. Washer & dryer worked great! Parking was good, right next to the door and no stairs needed. Felt right at home and very comfortable! This is a perfect location of longer stays!

This is a special place! We were extremely lucky with the weather and got a super sunny day (pretty rare for mid April). Beautiful scenery, the sun glinting on the water, the surrounding islands, the vegetation starting to wake up for spring! Highlights - exploring the trails on the island, enjoying the hot tub, watching the geese, plus the host was extremely friendly and responsive. Also really nice that there’s the option for a one night stay. My suggestions for improvements or for people booking a stay here - bring a bathrobe and slipper or sandals, I guess this wouldn’t be an issue in the summer but currently as it’s still pretty cold out - emerging from the hot tub into the April air and getting to the house was like doing a cold plunge lol. Also recommend bringing lots of layers, it is pretty windy and chilly at night. Overall great stay though, in the summer it would be awesome to swim off the dock, use the fire pit and lounge out on the rocks. Very cool place!

Fabulous location, quiet although close to a busy commercial street with lots of eating and shopping options, sweet back porch/balcony, helpful and quick-to-respond host, stocked milk in fridge for our morning coffee after a late night arrival - lovely personal touch.
