Kangaroo Cottage - Hills Retreat BnB

Kangaroo Cottage is an adults only retreat, surrounded by majestic Jarrah trees and wildlife. Guests have a wonderful opportunity to escape the city & immerse themselves in the serenity of the hills. Please be aware that the cottage is located on our family hobby farm & the sounds of our animals are a part of the Kangaroo Cottage experience. Our property is not suitable for pets or children. A light breakfast of croissants & condiments will be provided for the first morning of your stay.

Twilight Waters Retreat

Designed as your own private pad on the water, there’s no need to enter the main house—just settle in, unwind, and soak up the unique surroundings. Wake up to serene water views, with tranquil canal vistas right from your doorstep.

Riverside Hideaway.

You’ve found it! This cosy little cabin is tucked away in an elevated position just metres from the river. You’ll enjoy your own private lawn area. It’s perfect for couples seeking peace and quiet, or a romantic getaway. Across the farmland often has cattle or horses grazing. Follow the zig-zag path leading to the jetty. Tie up your own boat if you have one or launch a kayak and explore downstream. Restaurants shops and cafes are nearby. The property has a security camera in the car park.

Oceanview Beachside Retreat

Perfect for a private and relaxing getaway. This spacious self-contained accommodation offers a peaceful retreat with ocean views. Indulge in the luxury of an amazing bathroom, featuring a scenic outlook onto a tropical garden. Two golf courses, the beach, restaurants and coffee shops are nearby. Owners live above the apartment. Peaceful Hilltop Retreat

Escape to our cozy studio, a quiet hideaway set among the hills. Accessed via a gravel road, you will be surrounded by native trees and wildlife. With no WI-FI this retreat offers a genuine chance to slow down, switch off, and reconnect with nature. The retreat is located 50 minutes from Perth Airport. We live in the adjoining house on the property, so help is nearby if needed, while your accommodation remains private and self-contained. There is still 5G reception available at the suite.

Reverse cycle aircon in family/dining area & bedrooms.Two bedrooms have queen beds both with built in robes and ceiling fans while third bedroom has trundle bed in single size, plus desk. There is a Porta cot with linen that can be set up, plus a high chair and stroller if needed. Quality bed linen, pillows, doonas, bath & beach towels are provided.

The studio is located about 400m from the beach. Please note we do not offer cooking amenities.

Umatah Retreat Chalet

Umatah means "you matter". Umatah to us, Umatah to yourself, Umatah to those around you and Umatah to the environment. Umatah is part of the original State Brick Works that was closed down in the 1940’s after their excavations hit an underground spring. The property runs on organic principles and has a mango orchard, apiary, vegetable wicking beds plus various other fruit and nut trees. There is a large waterhole, landscaped gardens and endless native bushland.
