What an amazing experience staying at Skylark cabin for our honeymoon! The perfect place to get away for a few nights, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, clear night sky and unwind in style. Definitely coming back.

We had a great stay at Kay’s place! Very relaxing and well equipped. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed at The Huts, hut 6 specifically which had an AMAZING view of the lake and mountains. So beautiful it felt like it was a living picture frame. Having the tub to soak in underneath the milky way after a long day of hiking was just magic. Even with Tekapo springs within walking distance (which was great), it tends to get busy so it was perfect to also have the option of a quiet and relaxing soak all to ourselves. Great amenities and superb location. Just the right size for 2. Easy and friendly check in/out. Hope to be back soon!

The place was very romantic! Definitely rustic, which is what we love, but still very comfortable and clean. Felt very private for me and my new wife on our honeymoon. The owner's house is about 20m across from the hot tubs, which we were concerned about, but there's no windows on that side of the house, and he left us alone, once he got the tubs got. Still felt private and romantic. It is heated by a heater and a fireplace, which we kept running easily. It did get a little cool overnight, when we weren't topping it up. Nothing to worry about, especially with the heater, and heated blanket. Toni and Judy were very friendly as well!

Best part of our holiday! Highly recommend a relaxing and romantic stay at The Rise! All the details are so well thought out to make for a perfect stay. Stargazing in the bathtub was our highlight ! Thanks!

Wow!! What a beautiful place to stay! I surprised my partner for a night away for his birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a better place! This cabin is full of luxury items like the Country Road towels and beautiful linen. Nothing has been missed there was even slippers which were very useful for going to the toilet late at night. Definitely will be back again to try that amazing hot tub. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed at fantail lodge for four nights as a small getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We were looking for something peaceful and relaxing and within easy reach of the hydro canals for a bit of fishing. The lodge ticked all our boxes. It is a lovely well built log cabin surrounded by pine trees right at the far end of a road about 2km from Twizel centre. The living area is very comfortable and has a lovely log burner that we made good use of. The bathroom was beautifully clean and the shower was awesome. The kitchen area facilities have everything you need to prepare a meal on site which we did on a couple of occasions and the bed in the room we chose was very comfortable. We loved our few days stay at the lodge and it’s amazing to think Christine actually had a hand in building the lodge learning new skills as she went. If you are looking for a quiet, restful place to use as a base to visit the Mackenzie country the lodge is just the place. We’ll definitely be back.

This place was ideal for my writing retreat. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Having a writing desk and a proper computer chair was a real bonus and meant I could get on with my work and not end up with back ache. Lovely barn eggs and milk left for me too. I already am thinking about when I can come again! Thank you so much for everything!

Ruataniwha Hut is such a beautiful spot! Coming from a country area in aus ourselves, we have a special appreciation for the beauty and the peacefulness of this place 😊 The hut was so cosy, had everything we needed and made for a perfect stay whilst travelling around the area. Huge credit to Andrew who has put in so much effort to make this place special!
