The property, once home to a lumber yard and freight depot, now boasts a brilliantly renovated event space, outdoor stage, and thirteen luxurious cabins. Whether you're celebrating a big milestone or just looking for a getaway, the S.L.umber Yard is the perfect place to stay. This cabin has one King bed and two chairs that fold out into kid-sized twins, perfect for two adults and two children.

Carner’s Cabin - backcountry hut

A secluded cabin in a high alpine environment at 11,700 feet! Truly off-grid, without electricity, running water, NO WiFi. Beautifully furnished with fabulous furniture and wonderful beds to sleep 8. Just bring a sleeping bag & pillow case! WINTER ACCESS: By ski/skin, snowshoe or snowmobile only. 2 miles and 1000 foot gain to cabin. Takes approximately 3 hours on rolling and steep terrain. SUMMER ACCESS: By high-clearance, 4x4 vehicle and requires low gears (rental SUV not recommended).

There is no kitchen (No cooking or washing dishes, yay) Connected to a large family home but is separate from the household. 2 blocks to Main Street & 7 mi to Cooper. No children under 12 please. Our cabin is one of a kind. Isolated with easy access, it is located outside Leadville-10,200 feet, between the Sawatch and Mosquito ranges, with stunning views of both. Licensed through the Land County Land Use License #2025-P12, allowing 4 guests only. Please DO NOT bring additional guests. No cleaning fee. Winter guests: Easy access to town. The county plows the road, still we recommend AWD or 4WD for all winter travel. Please read “other things to note” before booking.
