Farm Stay Finca Castelero (La Vina Bunkhouse)

Just outside the town of Kelseyville sits Finca Castelero; a 25-acre property consisting of a pear orchard, vineyard, vegetable garden, barn and three bunkhouses. The farm is the perfect retreat for anyone looking to relax and spend time outdoors. While the bunkhouses are standalone bedrooms, you will have access to a stocked kitchen, dining room, living room and two bathrooms just steps away. Country main house set in the middle of vineyards. Our property is on seven acres, you’re surrounded by vineyard, olive and Walnut trees. Excellent getaway from the city with friends. The star gazing is amazing. We come up regularly between renters and are completely involved with the upkeep of the house and grounds. The house is just a short drive from Kelseyville and the town of Lakeport. Just minutes from the lake and area wineries. Walking distance to The Mercantile tasting room!

Cottage on lakeside property.

This is a cozy guestroom attached to the garage on our stunning half-acre lakefront, tree-studded property. The bedroom (double bed) and bath are quite small (not room for much luggage), but perfect for a few nights stay. We have two chairs and a little table set up right outside, and there are other relaxing spots. Check-in time is normally 3:00, but can be earlier with prior approval. We also rent out our house on occasion. They are 2 separate places non attached.

I completely re-modeled this home when my good friends who live on a boat, arrived asking for a place to have their baby in. Hence, my heart is full of love every time I look at the photos and remember Augie, joining us on earth in August, last year. We finished the space, just in time for his arrival. Since my heart was full of love, the house has numerous extra perks, like a bidet attachment on each toilet, and lots of cozy spots to hang out with the baby.

What's stolen our hearts about this secluded property isn't just that it's a prime location on the lake with a bounty of wildlife and beach access to the water, but the history it has endured. This property is said to be a treasure from within the original Kelsey family and before that was home to the Pomos, Miwoks, and Wappos. Before our time, this home was known as Arrowhead due to the treasures it hid.

Nice lake front private vacation home.

Our vacation home is right in the middle of downtown. Everything is walking distance including grocery stores, boat launch, restaurants, stores, shops, park etc. The backyard has a giant beautiful gazebo, fire pit and private dock with electricity and fresh water. The home is smart controlled with auto opening curtains, fans, lights and music.
