Country Cottage

Our cottage is peaceful, comfortable, and conveniently located. The campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is near by and so is Breaux Bridge and Lafayette shopping and restaurants. We live near by and would love to tell you about a variety of places to visit such as the little cafe down town that serves the best fresh fried shrimp poboy served with fresh potato fries and on Saturday provides Cajun music played by local musicians. We love our community and think you will too.

Built in 1897 and listed in the Lafayette Historic Registry, the Givens Cottage has been meticulously brought back to life. Nestled away on .5 acre of beautifully landscaped oasis, this home is located in the unique Sterling Grove Historic District and is steps away from Mouton Plantation, Givens Townhouse, and John Nickerson House. Comfy and cozy get away. I am NOT LOCATED IN LAFAYETTE, so if you stay here please understand that you could be 10 to 20 minute drive depending on your destination
