Svetanjali is a beautiful property. We visited with our family for 2 nights and the place is gorgeous - even better than the pics! Spectacular views, tastefully done house and all small amenities taken care of. We went in end of December and were lucky to get snowfall. The staff had geyser and heater on before our arrival, making the arrival so cozy! Throughout the stay the staff was warm and responsive and we had some delicious food (we opted for all meals, at additional cost). Highlight for us was the bonfire and barbecue dinner. We will definitely visit again if in Dalhousie!

If you want to experience your first snow, begin with Bhaderwah and choose Colonel Kuldeep Singh as host. It is worth every penny. We were a group of 5 (2 males and 3 females) visiting Udhampur for a wedding. I pinged Kuldeep for a place to stay at Bhaderwah. "Bhaderwah is safe for girls and you'll get to see snow" was his first response. He offered a two-day itinerary from pickup at Udhampur to drop at Jammu Airport. We were accompanied by his buddy Mr. Balbir Singh, and his wife, Ms. Romi. Colonel never treated us like tourists, I got a peek of a traveler's life. We had home cooked meals from chef Romi. We visited Jai Ghati, a white heaven. Not many know Bhaderwah is a tourist spot, so we had the snow to ourselves. Kuldeep is passionate about promoting tourism in Bhaderwah. He introduced us to the locals. We went on a morning trek at Chhuna. Visited Guldanda to see the view of snow capped mountains. But it was crowded and windy. We left and Balbir was driving like a pro on icy roads.

Awesome place for family get together and weekend stay. Amazing scenic beauty with good weather. Staff was really nice and helpful. Really enjoyed the property and had a great time.

Our short stay at Raghuvansh’s place was amazing- we felt right at home. The location is easy to find, with cafe next door with sumptuous local and other food. The property is well maintained, very clean and spacious. The caretaker, Jeet Bhaiya, in particular is proactive, responsive and accommodating to requests like groceries and food- he prepared delicious and simple food for us on our request. The host also kept communicating to ensure we had a good stay. The place is very close to Dalhousie, but away from crowded spots , so it’s a great option for a cozy, private and serene stay, with access to picturesque spots. Overall super comfortable and clean home stay, with amenities and support provided. Highly recommended!!

Tsewang and his family were really helpful throughout the stay. The property is close to the Leh market. WE have enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and the home cooked meals were delicious. Highly recommended. Do not forget to try their homemade apricot jam

Wow. Can’t take my thoughts off this place. It was so well maintained, spacious, fully ventilated. The place came along with the breakfast which was included in the stay and made by a cook who was really good at his job. The Bnb was at walkable distance to the famous Mall Road. Ekaansh was very responsive and recommended us with some nice places to visit and good food have. Overall this stay is a 10/10.

8 Oaks: A lovely homestay amidst the tall deodar trees. Comfortable rooms, amazing food prepared by chef. The service was so good that we just relaxed and enjoyed the experience.

Come here to experience the best Vintage stay in Dalhousie. The place is mesmerizing with all the antiques, fireplace, ambience that you will feel that you are in a dream British cottage! Sabina is very helpful, kind and proactive with a personal touch. She was helpful throughout the stay and provided useful recommendations. This review is incomplete without mentioning the all in one superhuman Mr Rakesh! A great cook, soft-spoken, kind hearted super active human taking care of us in the cottage was so helpful and sweet. He prepared delicious meals and carefully took care of us in the harsh cold during our visit. It was very helpful of the team to bring our luggage to and fro our Cab. This was a very thoughtful arrangement by Sabina! Overall an excellent place to stay and enjoy! Thanks for everything!
