The Biotope Boutique House, eco B&B - private

A family-run guesthouse in the milder weather of La Paz city’s wealthier southern district. The creation of architect Lindsay Tellez, who has created a prototype for sustainable living in Bolivia that provides a comfortable and cosy place to stay. The house features a unique vertical greenhouse and water conservation system based on the natural filtration of totora reeds from nearby Lake Titicaca. Small workshops can be arranged on request to learn more about this pioneering form of agriculture.
