The Thunderbird Tiny House

The Thunderbird tiny house is located on the Thunderbird Ranch about 13 miles west of Mountainair, New Mexico. We are surrounded by the Cibola National Forest on all four sides. The property is owned by the Wester's and has been in their family for almost a hundred years. We also have other vacation homes for rent so if you want to bring another family we can accommodate that. Cry Macho Livery, Cozy 1-bd Guesthouse

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, seen as the blacksmith and livery in “Cry Macho”, the former adobe one-room schoolhouse from the 1880s territorial period, was just tastefully renovated to a comfortable 1 Bedroom guesthouse with all the modern conveniences. This guesthouse is part of the renovated heart of the Rio Grande village of Polvadera, sitting at the edge of the desert uplands and riverside farmland, 60 miles south of ABQ and 10 miles north of Socorro, and 20 north of BdA

360 degree skies

Custom built passive solar home at the north end of the Magdalena Mountains - the best view in town of Magdalena Mountain and the lady of the mountain (though the lady looks her best at the end of the driveway). Property borders the Cibola National Forest, great 360deg views, the sky is magic and ever changing, dark skies at night. Closest neighbor a quarter mile away, but you are still just a five minute drive to the village. Open floor plan, 30mins from Socorro, 90 mins to ABQ airport.

Private Casita at the Desert River Farm

We are located on a 2.75 acre homestead property just south of Albuquerque in a small agricultural community. It is a perfect retreat space for those looking to get away but stay close to amenities. We live in an 1890 adobe home that shares the property with the casita and we have quiet and friendly neighbors. We have a handful of fruit trees, a hoop house where we are growing vegetables, and a wild 1 acre field. The property is fully fenced with private parking right outside the casita.

Little House on the Bosque

Located on 20 acres in rural New Mexico, only 15 minutes from Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge. Resting on the banks of the Rio Grande River, the property abounds with its own wildlife---owls, turkeys, hawks, and deer as well as beautiful native plants. With no neighbors nearby, you can enjoy the beautiful night sky. We're not real fancy, but we're clean, comfortable and quiet! PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE YOU RESERVE OUR HOUSE THAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE WiFi OR CABLE /LOCAL TELEVISION.

Cozy cabin with Highlands

Relax, unwind, and unplug with a beautiful view of the Manzano Mountains in our cozy cabin. Mountainair was known as the “Pinto Bean Capital of the World” in its heyday and our land was used for dry-land bean farming. Remnants of homesteaders can still be found on the property. We now enjoy this beautiful location to raise Scottish Highland Cattle and can’t wait to share it with you! Our cabin will fit 2 adults plus a child comfortably with a queen bed and twin sofa bed.

Very quite neighborhood close walking distance to NM Tech, Restaurants and Grocery Store are also Close to the Socorro Plaza. ADT Alarm System and Surveillance System. Large back yard a Charcoal Grill available with picnic table. Fenced in back yard. The kitchen has pots pans, dishes, silverware everything is there for your use. Bathroom towels, hand towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Refrigerated air conditioning. Please inform host if you will have a pet.

Off the Beaten Path, Comfy Cabin StarLink Internet

Quiet and Beautiful Country Living. Wi-Fi throughout the Cabin. Smells & noises of country life. Doorway into the bedrooms is under 6'. Bedroom ceilings are under 7'. You have to walk through the smaller bedroom to get to the larger one. Accordion door between the 2 bedrooms for privacy. You can hear the coyotes and occasional dogs barking at night. You are welcome to wander the property. We also have ducks and chickens. We always have fresh eggs to share.

Lone Pine Inn

Converted 1942 lumber and hardware store. Close to main street, 2 bedrooms, 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed with twin trundle. Plenty of floor in the living room for multiple cots/air mattresses (1 Queen air mattress provided). Non-smoking. Pets are welcome, fenced area in the back. Large parking area for RVs, trailers, or multiple vehicles. I'm the owner Cindi Smith and I grew up here. Our town has perfect weather and lots to do. Come visit us!

NM Tech Parkside Getaway-20mi to Bosque Del Apache

Very cozy, farmhouse style home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fully fenced in back yard with a BBQ grill and cabana. Nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood. Home is conveniently located next to a well maintained city park. Walking distance to NM Tech & NRAO. A short 20mi drive to the Bosque Del Apache wildlife refuge. View of M mountain from front door.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Walking distance to restaurants and gas stations. Two bedrooms, one bath, full kitchen, living room. **Disclaimer** There have been complaints of a faint smell of cigarettes. There is absolutely NO Smoking in the house. This smell lingers from tenets from previous years.

Jim's Dream

Close proximity to Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. This older adobe house has been re-modeled extensively. Surrounded by a high fence, you will have complete privacy. There is a front porch, enclosed back porch. Backyard area has enclosed fence for a dog(s). Parking is available under carport.
