The Summer House

The Summer House is a traditional cottage on a small working farm. The cottage has been substantially renovated from its years as a potato store! and now includes everything you need for a comfortable, chilling (or active), break on our farm. The cottage is open plan downstairs, with big squishy leather sofas for a comfy relaxing evening. The cottage features a locally made spiral staircase with the metal work all handmade here on the Farm, and the wooden treads made from a fallen Arran tree.

Stunning seashore studio - step out to the beach

Spacious studio with direct access to the beach and uninterupted views of the bay and Holy Isle (no traffic). The studio is within a secluded end of the road seafront bungalow and has a king-sized bed with optional third bed. It's a nice hideaway for a couple, friends or young family. Local cafes, hotels and shops are a 15 min walk. Perfect for walkers, cyclists & birders. Your host is a Scottish marine campaigner who helped set up the Arran Marine Protected Area and has good tips for visitors.

Bay View Beach Apartment is situated on the beach in the village of Whiting Bay. Activities include golfing, angling, kayaking, swimming and many beautiful walking trails. The balcony overlooks the Firth of Clyde and the Holy Isle, and the tranquil view includes swans gliding across the water, oyster catchers on the shore and otters in the sea. On cold days and nights a wood burning fireplace will create a warm, cozy atmosphere. Enjoy Sky free to air TV in the living room and bedroom. Free WiFi.

Peaceful island shepherd hut

Welcome to 'Willow' – a handcrafted hideaway in a peaceful meadow on the Isle of Arran. Featuring: - a cosy bed with blankets and cushions - electric heater - a compact kitchenette with a Nespresso machine - an en-suite bathroom with shower & toilet - games, books and art supplies You’ll find us in the south of the island, in Whiting Bay. Within walking distance you’ll find a local grocery and coffee shop, a Thai restaurant and a pub serving food. Dyemill Bike Park is a 20-minute cycle away.

Mongolian Yurt with Spa on edge of Galloway Forest

Our traditional Mongolian yurt is located on pasture land at our home on the edge of the Galloway Forest, a Dark Sky Park. With sunset views in one direction & the peaks of the Southern Uplands in the other, enjoy the panorama or sit by the River Cree, which crosses our land. Relax in the wood fired hot tub, sauna & plunge pool (extra fee applies). 10 mins from Loch Trool, mountain bike trails, wild swimming spots & hiking routes, guests are perfectly placed to explore this unspoilt region.

The Vestry, St. Columbas Church

We have a quirky vestry, suitable for 2 adults or small family, attached to a converted church on Whiting Bay seafront. The Vestry has recently been converted to a high standard. It has a super kingsize bed plus a sofa bed in the living room/kitchen area. TV, cooker, fridge, kettle and toaster. Shower room/toilet. Views from the living room look out onto the sea and it's a stones throw away from the beach. Separate entrance with garden. Free parking. Bedlinen and towels provided. Free wifi.

The Wee Beach House (Sleeps 3)

The Wee Beach House in Whiting Bay is situated behind The Big Beach House on the beautiful Isle of Arran! It has recently been renovated and tastefully decorated to a high standard. We have a small fenced, private garden with outside furniture, safe for children. Perfect location - only meters from the beach, 2 minutes walk from the local village shop and 100 meters from a children’s play park. We also have on-street parking. There is a partial sea view from the upstairs bedroom.

The Cottage, Whiting bay, Isle of Arran

Located at the edge of Sandbraes Holiday Park, Whiting Bay. The Cottage was just renovated in 2020 to create a modern, light & airy space. Can sleep 4 adults or 2 adults & 2 children (We only accept dogs if prearranged) Private back garden with seating area. Private front forecourt with dining table & chairs. Across the road from a play park/field & beach. 5 minute walk to shop. 20min walk to local pub. We advise all customers to get travel insurance when travelling to an island.

Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a unique 18th Century lime washed stone cottage located a short distance from Whiting Bay. As a Category B listed building of architectural and historic interest, Rose Cottage is believed to be a long house typical of the Western Isles. A delightful home in a peaceful rural location, oozing charm and maintaining much of the original character. Accommodation comprises a large open plan lounge area with galleried mezzanine, kitchen, bathroom and one double room.

Quiet Retreat in Whiting Bay

Relax at this peaceful place to stay with sea and forest views. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and within easy access to the spectacular Glenashdale Falls, Giants Graves, The Fairy Glen and Kings Cross Point as well as forestry walks to Lamlash and Kildonan. Whiting Bay Golf Course is a 10 minute walk and for the animal lovers the red squirrels ,rabbits and grouse that frequent the garden are a delight to watch with the occasional deer or bird of prey never far away.
