Burke Bay A-Frame Retreat w/Cedar Hot Tub

Settle into this unique northwest retreat tucked into cozy Burke Bay. Built in the 1960s, this spacious A-frame has fun vintage vibes with modern comforts. Surrounded by 6+ acres of lush forrest, the whole crew will have plenty of room to get out and explore. At the base of two massive cedar trees, enjoy a relaxing soak in the bubbling cedar hot tub that overlooks the bay and its abundant marine life. Seals have been spotted swimming in the waters below. Just 15 min to Bremerton-Seattle ferry!

Enjoy the waterfront view by the woodstove, or roast s’mores & absorb the tranquility at the gas firepit on the spacious deck. A perfect cozy winter retreat, you are right on the low bank waterfront of a private lagoon, & the Hood Canal, surrounded by woods. Outdoor amenities abound, with a pickleball court, 2 paddleboards, rowboat, & firepits at the beach & lagoon. Enjoy a scenic 1 hour drive to Olympic National Park, or watch for porpoises, otters and the resident bald eagles from the couch.

The studio is the upper unit in an attached large house (there are no shared spaces.)

Wake to birdsong and filtered light through the towering trees, enjoy coffee or wine outdoors on the deck, grill dinner and gather by the fire pit as stars appear through the forest canopy. A simple, thoughtfully designed base for exploring the port towns and the Olympic Peninsula — or doing nothing at all. That's how we planned it. Small pets welcome. McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Enjoy the beachfront park nearby. We are only 10 minutes from Poulsbo, Port Gamble, and the Hood Canal bridge.

Sunrise and sunset paint the sky in hues of gold and indigo, creating a mesmerizing canvas that changes with each passing moment.

The Flowering Cottage

This is the original homestead on the farm, built in 1923. It has been lovingly restored into guest quarters. During weddings on our flower farm, it is the space in which our brides get ready. You will be able to wander the farm and explore the flower gardens. We offer u-pick bouquets. Seasonally, we are open Fridays to the public and our flower bar is stocked with an assortment of lovely blooms for you to create a perfect arrangement.

Private Studio

This unique get-away offers the blissful relaxation of country life without compromising any of the comforts of a modern studio. Located on over 5 acres, the studio space is a part of a turn of the century farmstead that is now home to alpacas and chickens who lay fresh eggs every morning. Enjoy the outdoor areas on the property, easy access to Poulsbo's downtown, and being minutes away from miles of hiking and mountain biking trails.

Your stay directly funds the Rockland Artist Residency, a free program for artists from around the world.
