Explore the town of Cache, venture through the scenic Wildlife Refuge to the charming cobblestone community of Medicine Park, the bustling area of Lawton Fort Sill (10 mins) or Ft Sill Military Base.

The Hangar

Welcome to The Hangar! Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. This beautiful 1 story house features 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms (each bedroom has a private bath), with access to walking trails right out front. Enjoy a quick trip or stay awhile, this quiet community is perfect for Altus AFB military personnel or families on TDY or PCS orders but we welcome anyone visiting Altus who needs a fully furnished home with lots of amenities. We are pet friendly with a large fenced yard.

Take a Hike Cabin Wichita Mountains Cache Ft Sill

Nestled at the foothills of the Wichita Mountains, the Take a Hike Cabin at The Lazy Buffalo portrays the captivating landscape that awaits you in the Wichita Mountains where you can find 59,000 acres of mixed prairie grass, ancient mountains, lakes, streams, and miles upon miles of trails waiting to be discovered. The Lazy Buffalo has 13 themed cabins. The spacious Take a Hike Cabin is handicap accessible, sleeps 2 guests, and offers a king size bed and bathroom with a roll in tiled shower.

Quartz Mountain Escape

One bedroom cabin on 1500 private acres of the Quartz Mountains. The owners live on the same property near the cabin. Hiking, wildlife watching, fishing within walking distance. Cabin is 300 square feet and has two twin bunk beds and one full bed. A full kitchen with an apartment sized fridge. Bathroom with shower. Electric outdoor grill. Fire pit when weather permits. There is a smart tv with inernet. No more than 4 people in or at the cabin at any given time. Additional pet fee of $30

Clarkhaus Wichita Mountains

Clarkhaus is a skillfully remodeled 1948 house with a long list of amenities, situated by itself on 15 fenced acres with uninterrupted views of the beautiful Wichita Mountains and rolling plains. Experience the privacy and comfort of Clarkhaus as your base to explore the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, Medicine Park, Meers, Ft. Sill, Quartz Mountain, and other interesting destinations. Peaceful Wichita Mtn retreat!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Amenities include Wifi (great for streaming but not great for zoom) tv- DVD player- indoor fireplace- outdoor space (bring outdoor chairs) full kitchen w all basic kitchen needs(coffee maker, pots, pans, silverware, plates and cups, washer/dryer) and a private gate entrance. Great views and lots of wild life around house. Wichita Mtn. Wildlife Refuge and Medicine Park is a short drive away. Pets allowed- no pets on furniture.

The Cooperton Bank a unique historical property

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located near the beautiful Wichita Mountains. This beautifully restored cobblestone structure originally housed The Bank of Cooperton. The original tin ceiling and tin shingled roof have been restored. The vault now serves as a spacious bathroom with a vintage vault door. Original slate from the teller counter and early 1900’s teller cage has been used in the decor as well as maintaining the original colors on the walls.

The Old Homestead

Relax with the whole crew at this peaceful place to stay. 100 year old homestead farmhouse with aged character has plenty of space inside and out. Located near our ranching operation just a mile outside of town, you’ll experience a slower way of life, away from life’s distractions, while enjoying the open air and clear skies. And feel free to walk around and see the cattle and horses on sight, and if you’re lucky, Karen, our llama, might make an appearance as well.

Located 20 minutes from Quartz Mountain State Lodge. Enjoy a quiet stay away from home. Open floor plan. Room to sleep 8 people. See lots of deer hogs and other wildlife. Grill out and enjoy the outdoors. One bathroom . A 400 sq foot loft you can see the mountains from. 1 King bed, 1 Queen and 2 twin trundle beds. It’s a family lodge not designed to stuff workers or multiple grown men into to save money on multiple hotel rooms.
