Marysa's Lodge sits on the edge of farmland where you can step out the gate and walk straight out into nature. Brightly painted horse and donkey carts are used for transport and farming. The Lodge has it's very own horse and cart too! Experience the weekly 'lumo' market on Saturdays and buy fabrics, bakeries, fruits and vegetables and much more. Venture out to Juffereh or Wassu, Janjanbureh and Farafenni as well as Fathala. Birds, 'gangster' donkeys and horses roam free. Birdlife abounds.
