We had a great stay! The place is so cute with many little things to discover during your stay! The kitchen is very well equipped! Sherry was very nice and helpful. The only thing to keep in mind when you’re staying there during the colder months is that the only source of heating is the fireplace, so it can get quite cold over night if you’re not getting up to restock the fire.

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at lake house cottage. The cottage was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host ( Benjamin) , was incredibly friendly and helpful, responding promptly to all our questions. We especially appreciated the welcome note, thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation." 5

The hosts’s instructions were clear, the cabin was clean and tidy, just as advertised. It’s a private spot, great for a getaway. The nearby lake and hiking trails make for a peaceful vacation. Plus there’s a hot tub, what more do you need?

Sara’s cottage was exactly as advertised and perfect for our small reunion of life long friends. The kitchen, hot tub and bathroom were very clean. The yard was spacious and beautiful with great access to the lake. Beds were very comfortable. The indoor wood stove was very appreciated for both ambiance and heat. My only issue was the small size of the stove for cooking dinner for 5. It was difficult to fit multiple pots and pans on the burners and one pan came very close to falling off the stove. This is less of a complaint about the space itself and more of a planning issue (would utilize the oven more or plan one pot meal etc). Overall great night spent in comfort with easy check in and lovely surroundings. We would definitely come back in the future.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! The scenery is beautiful and made it even more special. This place was big, and very cozy. We appreciated that, with nine adults we had plenty of space to enjoy coffee together in the morning, or enjoy the game room at night. With a hot tub and a sauna, it was perfect for a bit of unwinding and relaxation too! Highly recommend!

Had an amazing time at the Oasis! I came with a few girlfriends for the weekend, and it was the perfect relaxing escape. The Airbnb had so much to offer, and being right on the lake made it even more special. Tanya and Chris were incredibly responsive and created the perfect little getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Kimiko’s Beach Loft! The space felt warm, welcoming and so so cozy with the wood burning fireplace. We had it going all weekend! The outdoor space was just as awesome as the indoor. Kimi and Scott thought of it all - we had everything we needed. We checked out some antique spots down the road, had a dip in the ocean, enjoyed the hot tub and cooked all weekend! It truly was a special weekend!

Absolutely beautiful place-being able to see it in fresh snowfall was breathtaking. We were very comfortable and felt right at home. It was fully equipped and well-kept - the office space was perfect for me to do some work while there and so much light came in during sunny days. Host was very communicative and friendly and wanted to make sure we got in okay and if we needed anything to reach out. I would definitely stay here again!

I just finished a long-term stay at this wonderful Airbnb. It’s very clean, quiet and comfortable. Alanna and Kevin are great hosts and were very quick to respond to any questions I had. We had a great stay at Eric and Jenny’s. Beautiful new’ish build close to lots that the valley has to offer (Cape Split, Port Pub, Sea Level and Huntley’s - beef jerky FTW - all nearby). Fully equipped kitchen, great shower space, board games for family fun, cute patio (too windy during our stay to enjoy fully) and lots more. In addition to strongly recommending this rental, thought it would be useful to also recommend the monthly kids night at the nearby Nordic spa (Salt Air)… ours loved it. Thanks for the stay.!

Lovely experience - very clean, lots of thought went into the design of this space, very clean and bright. As others have noted, there is a smell to the tap water - this did not bother me, as I know it can be part of living on well water and it was well documented in the reviews. Appreciated the provision of a water cooler for drinking water. Overall, very pleasant experience. Would stay again!

Another fantastic stay at one of Sasha's properties; second stay at this location. I stayed for 5 nights and could easily have stayed another 5. Bright, clean, comfortable, and relaxing is how I would describe this spot. Big tvs, multiple fire places, hot tub, vinyl collection, all the good stuff! Everything you could need or want for short or longer stays. Sasha is a wonderful host and always proactive. Will be staying again!

Beautiful new 6 bedroom lakehouse close to Halifax

Our large family enjoyed a 5 night stay at the house and it is easily one of the nicest in our memory of AirBnB homes. There was lots of space for our group and the little kids loved exploring outside. We hosted some extra family one evening for dinner and found everything needed in the well appointed kitchen. The beds were very comfortable too! We loved everything about this home. It's little out of the city but that was ok for us. A memorable trip for us!
