Located just under 4 miles from Conley Bottom marina, she offers a cozy full bed, breakfast nook, refrigerator and ample counter/cabinet space, as well as running water, electricity and AC. Nestled into the treeline of a large meadow, Black Betty provides fantastic stargazing, a private fire pit and picnic table. Guests have access to our Community Shelter, Bath House and hiking trails to the lake.

This 30ft home on wheels was built with heart and purpose, offering a quiet place to unwind while still being in the city. It’s a compact space with the basics you need for a short stay. This is not a luxury rental but a personal project that my dad and I built it during COVID after I lost my job. Using mostly reclaimed and recycled materials, this space became both my creative outlet and a fresh start.🌙🌿

A lot of time and hard work have gone into creating a beautiful, yet simple and peaceful getaway for couples/friends/family. Inspired by the owner’s love and appreciation of vintage furniture, keepsakes, and old classical music/media, our hope is for those who want a little place to stay, and are wanting something different will check us out. It is still a work in progress with much more to come!

Assigned bathroom #2 provides privacy, a hot shower, and fresh towels. Soap and shampoo too! The bathhouse is a short walk from the tent and each tent has its own private bathroom.
