Inspired by reflections of yesteryear the cottage pays homage to the pioneers of the highlands, and the huts they lived in. You will be taken back to the times of our pioneers in this rustic cottage, but don't be misled by the simplistic exterior, inside, you will find everything you need to help you "Rewind, Relax, Rejuvenate."

You will love the amazing uninterrupted view of Mt Roland from the cottage veranda - the view changes continuously reflecting different moods of the mountain depending on the time of day/night, the changing seasons and weather conditions - cloud, rainbows, sunrise or sunset, and at times, snow. The cottage is warm and cosy with a real flame gas fire to keep you toasty. This cottage has one king bed and one queen bed with natural fibre bedding and electric blankets.

Mayfield Farm Cottage is a exquisitely appointed 2 bedroom accomodation nestled in the tranquil countryside and just 45mins to spectacular Cradle Mountain. It is the perfect base to explore Cradle Mt, Mole Creek caves, Lake Barrington rowing course, Sheffield town of murals, the scenic coastal drive through Penguin, Latrobe chocolate and cheese factories, Mt Roland walks & just 10min to the mountain bike trails.

Hillside B&B, self contained cottage is 6 minutes from the mural town of Sheffield, 20 minutes from Devonport and 60 minutes from Cradle Mountain. Private and peaceful with views of both Mt Roland and Lake Barrington. Farm eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, milk etc provided for self cook breakfast. Self checkin. Unfortunately due to steps and outside raised decking area it is not safe/suitable for infants or children.
