This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Looking out on the Kearney County courthouse. Located right next to the Minden Opera House and front row windows to see the Light of the World Pageant at Christmas time. Within walking distance of Pioneer Village. America's time capsule features 50000+ historic items. Only a short drive if you're wanting to view the Sandhill Cranes during their migration. There are 27 stairs to climb so you also get a work out.

Rustic Cabin Retreat

Quiet, secluded area has occasional wildlife (turkey, deer). The Turkey Creek runs behind the cabin, and there is a very small pond in the front of the cabin that can be fished. There's a kid's "fort" to the west of the main cabin for the kids to enjoy! The fort has a space heater, a loft with a futon, and a TV (no TV service) that can be used for DVD's. The cabin has no TV service or internet service.....thus the beauty of this retreat!! TV in the cabin is for DVD's only.

There is 25 acres of land with access to the North Platte River, and only a short drive from the Rowe Sanctuary, and Iain Nicolson Audobon Center. Cabin is not ADA equipped.

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. 1895 farm house on 160 acres. Private pond perfect for fishing. Excellent Wildlife viewing just 100 yards from the Platte River. Cranes, Deer, Turkeys, geese and more right out the front door!
