Unique BnB apartment in downtown Aarhus

Embrace the Scandinavian design aesthetics of this wood-clad apartment. The home features plank flooring, unique artwork throughout, pops of color, an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique furnishings, and rooftop views. You will find a well equipped and cosy Danish apartment here. We love our place, but happily share it with you during the summer. Every thing you might need is here. Two separate bedrooms, with nice double beds. A big dinner table in the dining room, with a great evening light across the city towers. A well equipped, easy to handle kitchen. A comfortably sized bathroom with shower and toilet. A nice hallway with access to the whole shabam. Since we dont believe in television, we can give you a strong broad band wifi in stead. And we recommend a good rainy day spent with one of our many board games! We will drop by and say hello - open the doors, wash dirty linen if needed. All in accordance with you of course. We will not be so far away, and can help if you need. The property is located in the heart of the city just 200 meters from the main street. There is easy public transportation around town, and there are a number of shops, restaurants, bars, and more to explore. Main bus station around the corner. Main train station 5 minutes walk. Free city bikes are usually parked on our street. Parking nearby is possible, but comes with a strict parking fee. Backside neighbour is the police station, so you better behave :-) As we live in the city, online and work hard every day, we like to have a peaceful off-time in the apartment. Hence no TV! WiFi is with you all the way, thought ;-) Also note that our living room is without the usual sofa, focusing on the dinner table as a central point in our life. The couch in the guest room is making up for this monumentous loss. Neighbourhood is primarily young people with lots of city venues around. Wonderful silence can be expected, but not a guarantee in the city center.

Bo i en liten enkel och nyrenoverad gullig stuga med kamin, tillbringa dagarna på den stora altanen med sjöutsikt i två riktningar, diska utomhus, tvätta håret i sjön, plocka kantareller i skogen precis vid tomten. Njut av det enkla och opretentiösa livet. Området är sommar-idylliskt. This memorable romantic home, is anything but ordinary. It has soul, lovely beach with fine white sand, far out to sea, nature right outside the door. Ålbæk town just under 1 km from the house, restaurants, take away, hairdresser, to the sweet tooth, as well as Ålbæk harbor and beach in the small idyllic town. North of the house you will find Skagen, only 10 min. Driving away, as well as other sights nearby. The place offers all possibilities for both families, young and old, etc.

Unikt hus med byens bedste beliggenhed

Det hyggelig byhus i Hjelmerstald ligger midt i Aalborgs historiske centrum. Huset er over 500 år gammelt, men er nyrenoveret i respekt for husets mangeårige historie. I gamle dage var Hjelmerstald en berygtet og fattig gade, men i dag er gaden den mest fotograferede gade i Aalborg og indeholder nogle af de allermest hyggelig huse. Det sandfarvede hus med en af byens gamle renoverede gaslamper på husmuren rummer masser af hygge, kringelkroge og historier.

Nyrenoveret stort og lyst værelse på 1 sal med fantastisk udsigt (og med mulighed for 2 ekstra opredninger ud over dobbeltseng) og nyrenoveret mindre værelse med hvælvede lofter i stueplan- ligeledes med flot udsigt og dobbeltseng. Der er desuden stor opholdstue med mulighed for bla "biograf" hygge med stort lærred, et spil bordfodbold el bare ren afslapning med en god bog. Badeværelset ligger i stueetagen. Der er lækker sovesofa og gode boksmadrasser.
