Barraba Home with a View

Our house is well maintained and is suited to families and small groups. The home has two queen rooms . A large family room with queen , king single and a single with trundle . All rooms are air-conditioned . There is a slow combustion fire for those cold nights but due to rising cost of wood and low availability the fire is on request . The home has everything you will need for a relaxing stay in Barraba. Close to Barraba hospital, Richardson House and a short walk to the Main Street.

The beautiful Gwydir River is a block away where you can swim, kayak and watch the world go by. Local horse-riding tours are a few minutes walk away, and you’ll often hear the sound of horse hooves walking up the street. The main street, iconic Roxy Theatre, pubs, and shops are a block away. The Old Schoolhouse was originally built for the owners’ children to attend correspondence school but has since been transformed into self-catered accommodation with fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. Experience the enchanting octagonal “fairy tale castle”, hand-crafted from local timbers. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the large, Swiss-style balcony, and take a shower in a hand-sculpted masterpiece! Preferably no pets in The Old Schoolhouse.
