We absolutely loved our stayed at the shack! Plenty of room for our family to move about and it was great to sit outside for some of our meals. And the view from the deck was beautiful at any time of the day or night. Very peaceful location which made for great sleep ins, and we enjoyed our morning walk to the local cafe for a coffee. We'll def be back. Thanks for being such welcoming hosts!

This place is at a beautiful location with private access to Emu Bay Beach. Perfect for a couple or family. We loved our time here and would highly recommend

Our stay at the Sleepy Hollow near Stokes Bay KI was wonderful. We chose the place based on the location as we were spending time with friends who were staying nearby but were pleasantly impressed with the high standard and cleanliness of the accommodation. It is beautifully and tastefullly decorated with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub was a lovely addition! The location is quite remote and you’d need a car but it’s only a 5 minute drive to gorgeous Stokes Bay. I would recommend a visit and will stay again in the future.

Thank you for letting us stay at your place. Such a beautiful location, easy walk to everything local, great views. Quality fittings throughout. We had a full house in all 3 bedrooms - a very well stocked kitchen for so many people. Everyone commented on how comfy the beds and pillows were. We’ll certainly be back❤️

Fantastic house well equipped with everything needed for a week long stay. Clean and comfortable with lots of helpful extras like a Weber, kids toys, cot, kitchen wares etc. Would recommend staying here!

Great stay. Lots of friendly kangaroos around. Short walk to island beach.

A clean and tidy place that was exactly as described. More than enough space for our group of 7 and the large couch was fun to chill and watch a movie at the end of the night. The stand out feature is of course the view from the balcony.

Everything was perfect, we had a wonderful stay. We would not hesitate recommending the accommodation to anyone. Thank you Stack and Helen, love what you have done with this beautiful homestead. Definitely needed to stay longer though!

Love our 2 night stay. Self checked in was easy. The unit is clean and cozy. Kitchen is well equipped with cooking facilities and we are able to prepared our dinner & breakfast for both nights. 5 minutes drive to the Kingscote town center, easy to get groceries. Well located in the middle of Kangaroo island and easy to access to Flinder Chase area, or the Pennyshaw jetty side of the island. Bec is very responsive towards all my queries. The photos and descriptions is exactly the same as described. Highly recommended.

What a lovely beach house, you feel at home straight away. Kitchen well equipped, large deck for relaxing. Private and peaceful, only a couple minutes walk the beach. If you get up early enough you will be treated to beautiful sunrises whilst sipping your morning coffee. You might even get a visit from a kangaroo or two. A number of choices to stay at KI but we definitely picked the right one!

Spacious and clean Airbnb, convenient location, easy check in. The host was very responsive and very helpful! We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic views and lots of space to spend out with multi generational family. Accessible beach and pier for fishing - we caught our dinner one night. Fun to watch the 3 resident Koalas in trees across the street and local kangaroos in surrounding yards.

My husand and i stayed here for 6 days and ended up eloping at the accommodation site! It is truly beautiful and there are plently of fish to catch at the beach. Our location host tony was truly amazing and went above and beyond to make the trip unforgettable! We plan to make this our anniverasy spot! 10/10 the place is perfect for two looking to imerse themseves in the island with almost panoramic views from the bed and an almost private beach, this is your spot!
