Scottish highland cattle

Come stay with us on our small hobby farm. We have Scottish Highland cows, chickens, call ducks and peafowl. Our house is 120 years old and you will be in your own space attached to the original farm house. We do need to be with you at all times while interacting with the animals, but our apartment is private. It is a working farm so it is noisy at times, we have pet birds on site that can be loud at times. All people welcome all colors and creeds we are a colorful family at SchoenWest farm.

You will have access to a separate wing of the house--2 bedrooms and a bathroom shared between the 2 bedrooms, a laundry room/kitchenette, microwave, small fridge. Coffee/tea available. Fire pit, grill available. Plenty of parking for snowmobile trailers. Home of the Vasaloppet--Mora's famous Cross Country Ski Race!

Cozy Little Cabin at Mille Lacs Lake

Come enjoy the newly remodeled Cozy Cabin! We updated the sleeping area upstairs! Our family has enjoyed the area for generations. Enjoy the lake and the simple pace of Isle. Our cabin is down the street from Castles Resort where pontoons are available for rent (swimming and fishing at city park). If you have your own watercraft, there are 2 public access points just down the street (see pictures). All the amenities of home within 2 blocks~parks, grocery, spa, bakery, and tavern!

Private Log Home with Hot Tub and Sauna

Welcome to Keystone Lodge! Located just an hour north of the twin cities. Come enjoy this private log home tucked back on 10 acres. You will find Knife Lake just a ½ mile down the road. Bring your favorite outdoor gear or stay in and enjoy the healing heat from the pellet stove. There is something for everyone. Enjoy the campfire and roast some marshmallows while taking in the serenity. There are lakes, restaurants, breweries, state parks, and trails close by. (Refer to guidebook.)

Our Nordic inspired A-Frame is known as the Stylle Hytte which is Norwegian for ‘Quiet Cabin’. Here you can take in 5 secluded acres of woods with trails winding down to the private riverfront. Only an hour north of the Twin Cities, enjoy modern conveniences like WIFI (60mbps), smart TV, complete kitchen, full bathroom, a bedroom and loft both with queen beds, a cozy living room with a real wood fireplace and an outdoor electric barrel sauna. Calendars are open 9 months in advance.

The Royal River Run is the perfect place for a couple, small group, or family. Right along the Snake River, you can enjoy tubing, fishing, swimming, and more. Other perks include a basketball area and other outdoor games, fire pit, grill, outdoor seating, screened in porch, three bed, two bath, fully equipped kitchen, wood fireplace, internet, tvs, games for indoors, pet friendly, hammock, ample parking, onsite laundry. You will instantly feel at home at the Royal River Run.

Tosher Creek Cottage has been recently renovated and has everything you’ll need to spend a relaxing getaway, it’s just what you need and only minutes restaurants, aquatic center, shopping and parks. Fishing gear, cooler, outdoor games on site! Visit the Vasaloppet Nordic Center and enjoy over 8 miles of groomed CC ski trails, there are so many great things to do in our small community.
