The Carriage House

Our vacation rental is located on ten secluded and wooded acres on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, surrounded by lakes, hiking trails,and gorgeous sunsets on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our guesthouse is named The Carriage House as it sits above a three-car garage. The rental has a full kitchen and bath, with a wood burning stove in the living area. It is a quiet, peaceful and great place to relax. Enjoy our quiet yet close location, listening to the wind in the trees, not traffic going by.

Tall Cedars- Privacy in the forest under the stars

Experience the Olympic Peninsula at this private, serene hideaway - surrounded by old cedars, ferns, huckleberries & more. It has all you need for a cozy getaway in the forest, including a hot tub! This home is a short 5-minute drive from a popular surf spot (Crescent Beach), miles of hiking trails (Salt Creek Recreation Area), & epic tide-pooling. Yet, it is just 20 minutes west of downtown Port Angeles - far enough to feel “away from it all,” but close enough to enjoy the town’s amenities.

Take a break and relax on beautiful Lake Sutherland just outside Olympic National Park. The cabin is in a convenient location on the lake with fantastic hiking nearby. It’s a quick 20 minute drive to Port Angeles and only an hour drive to the coast. You can easily get to many popular spots within the National Park or take a day trip to Hoh. This charming cabin is perfect for a family trip, working remote, or be enjoyed for a friends trip. It is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of the PNW.

This is a little slice of Heaven… Your cabin has high bluff waterfront amazing views, overlooking the Salish Sea… It literally overlooks Freshwater Bay, Vancouver Island, & San Juan Islands, & Victoria BC. (Walking access is only 2 mi away). We are nestled in the middle of the gateway to Olympic National Park, and everything this area has to offer. We are only 10 miles from Port Angeles. And, we know you will enjoy and love your stay, "By the Sea".

The cabin has a well-stocked full kitchen, a washer / dryer, a patio with gas grill, and its own private beach and dock.

This cabin has a queen size bed and a small pull out futon more suitable for a child or someone small. Enjoy sitting outside around the campfire or cozy up on the couch & watch a movie. This cabin sits on 5 acres and is very private with a front & back yard. Hosts are not on site.🌿 NO WIFI 🚫NO PETS

Just 3 min by car from Freshwater Bay boat launch, with the Olympic National Park, Olympic Discovery trail, and sandy beaches of Salt Creek recreation area all within 10-15 minutes away. We are not waterfront.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Boathouse bungalow is a converted boathouse steps from the Lake Sutherland. You have the property to yourself with the bungalow as well as an enclosed gazebo with a dedicated work space. A few miles down the road spend the day at Lake Cresent or enjoy one of the many hikes in the Olympic National Park.
