Welcome one and all to DunMovin'. The Cottage you will be staying in may make you feel like you have stepped back in time. Don't forget your fishing pole, this property is on the banks of the Wild and Scenic Rogue River. Lounge by the pool, feed the geese, go shopping, or head to any of the amazing restaurants that are just around the corner. I'm in the city limits, so everything is a minute or two away. These tiny A-Frame cabins are located on a unique 100 acre property just minutes from the 199, Redwood Highway. The land sits upon a mile of private frontage along the gorgeous Illinois River. The river and swim hole is just a few min walk from the cabins. Included with your stay is access to our shared commercial kitchen, 8 person barrel sauna and 2 outdoor shower houses, one which overlooks the Siskiyou National Forest and river just below. Many share its the best shower they have ever had!

Awestruck is not nearly enough to describe what you feel when you see our 1905 Colonial revival home. We have worked tirelessly to restore this home to its original charm. The main rental unit is a private restored two bedroom Carriage house that is fully air conditioned with an open floor plan. We are less than 1 mile from town but still enjoy watching deer families and wild turkeys cross our property. It truly is a home away from home and a clean comfortable place to relax in.

It is about a 5-7 min walk downhill with a stairwell to a secluded private beach oasis. Soak in the natural forest landscape. Engage your senses in forest bathing from the evergreens to the beach or from the hot tub gazing at the stars. About a 10 minute walk back up to the home.

It is conveniently located 3 miles from the I-5 exchange and midway between San Francisco and Seattle (approximately 400 miles and 6.5 hours in either direction). The cabin has a loft, wood stove, radiant heat, new patio, washer/dryer, high quality sound system, and an outside chiminea.

Our place has just been remodeled. It is close to public transport, the city center, and family-friendly activities. We are within walking distance of a store, and a great restaurant. You’ll love our place because of the outdoor spaces, the light, and sitting next to the Rogue River watching the rafters, boats, geese, Egrets, Herons, and eagles.. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
