Historic cabin close to Duke U - with EV Charger

This story could have started in the 40's, but we'll start in the 60's when this tiny cabin was local housing to graduate students at Duke. Wonderfully located and unlike anything else this close to Duke University or downtown Durham, the Green Door cabin welcomes you for the weekend or week. Fully renovated recently while keeping the charm intact. You can feel as isolated as you want with every amenity within just a couple of miles. Duke Forest Trails and Duke CC Trail within walking distance.

Anchored in the cool shade of Beech and Oak trees, 19 acres and hundreds of feet of lake shore for you to explore. The lake and surrounding forest are home to a wide variety of wildlife, experience for yourself the secret they have found. Truly unwind in this 2 bed 1 bath right on the water's edge. Artist's Studio

Originally the studio of a visual artist (long ago garden illustrator for The New York Times), this petite building is completely private. Firm queen bed. Mix of antiques and artisanal built-ins. Radiant heat. AC. Mini fridge and microwave, electric kettle, Chemex coffee maker and French Press, excellent wifi. Unique space in one of the best country neighborhoods around. 6.5 miles to Hillsborough healthy grocery store, 8 to Carrboro/Chapel Hill, 18 to Durham. Serene pond and grounds.

A long gravel driveway leads you beside two beautiful horse farms with your private retreat tucked away in the woods. You will enjoy all of the benefits of a private, wooded retreat while conveniently located just minutes from all that Wake Forest, Youngsville, and Franklinton have to offer. Screened porches, a spacious open concept living room/kitchen area, with two adorable bedrooms.

The Scout House

Located close to downtown Carrboro and Chapel Hill, The Scout House has all of the rustic charm of a country retreat plus the convenient, urban amenities of The Triangle. The beds (one king and one queen), are brand new and super comfy. The views include a historic barn, ivy covered stables, green pastures, and woods. There is a lightly wooded trail to a serene private pond. The Scout House is a charming and wonderful place to stay for any and all occasions!

Spacious Poolside Guesthouse on Private Pond

Our 67-acre property, Split Rock, is located 25 min. from Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill. We are also 15 min. from Carrboro & Hillsborough, a historic, walkable community. Our guesthouse is a large pool cabana with kitchenette & queen bed overlooking a 4.5-acre pond surrounded by uninterrupted woodland. You are welcome to canoe, fish, walk our trails, play disc golf, or just enjoy the peaceful view. Split Rock is ideal for couples and solo travelers.

Log Cabin at Jordan Lake

Enjoy this beautiful, custom log cabin located right beside the Poe's Ridge Boat Ramp at Jordan Lake! Peaceful setting and only 30 minutes from Downtown Raleigh. Full of history and rich with character, this cabin was built in the 1750's and is believed to have belonged to a community in which one of Abraham Lincoln's family members resided. Since then, this cabin has been moved and meticulously cared for and brought back to life. Pet friendly!
