Beech Mountain Retreat Upon Watauga River

Vacation on the river, in the mountains of North Carolina. Secluded Fully furnished suite in a private home located on the Watauga River at Beech Creek convergent. One bedroom with a Queen size Bed, twin XL and Murphy bed. One bathroom with tub and shower. Living room with gas fire place, washer dryer and fully stocked kitchen. The North Star Dome

Camp on our pick-your-own flower farm & petting zoo! This is camping, elevated with style & comfort. We provide the climate controlled dome, comfy bed (bring your own sheets), griddle, and basic supplies. Bring your own queen size bedding/sleeping bags, water, cooler, & firewood. Rustic outdoor shower is OPEN till October 1st! The Dome is nestled on our farm's off-grid hilltop, with tremendous mountain views. There are trails, farm animals to visit, & seasonal flowers/veggies to pick!

Connect with nature at Loon Tune's cabin tucked in a quiet cove with pristine views of the Cherokee National Forest and Watauga Lake. This location is teeming with wildlife -Wood Ducks, Kingfishers, Bald Eagles, and Loons, hence the name. This tranquil Butler, TN retreat offers a dock with/ deep water access, 2 kayaks, a canoe, SUP & swim pad. Stargaze by the fire pit or play ring toss under the twinkle lights. Scott Hill Cabin #2

This is our second cabin built by hand. It has a kitchen with a stove, mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. It also has basic cooking necessities. The cabin has a full size bed. The restroom has a sink and stand up shower. We will provide towels and linens. Despite the listing saying 2 beds, it is in fact, 1 double bed. Sorry for the listing mistake. We allow pets, but ask for prior knowledge. We are just minutes from 2 separate trailheads to the Appalachian Trail.

We feature a two-story, separate guest house in beautiful surroundings with a master suite upstairs including a queen bed, reading corner, TV area, and full bath. Downstairs you will find a kitchen, small bedroom, and a half-bath.

Mountaintop Vistas of NC/TN/VA

Your first-floor suite has a Tennessee bedroom, one bath, and another bedroom off the living room separated by privacy curtains. Enjoy a fireplace, a dining room, and three private exterior entries. You also have a large patio with a fire pit, grill, and 3-person hot tub! You also may use the 7-foot square hot tub on the hangar patio if you like. Hike the TN/NC line on our ridge. Hike into the gorge for rock climbing, swimming, and flumes.

The Cottage at Historic Sutherland Manor est. 1807

Helene update: the farm is undamaged and roads leading to it are passable. This farm cottage is located on a historic 40 acre farmstead behind a beautiful farmhouse (which is under renovation) with views of The Peak, Ashe County’s highest mountain. We are bordering Elk Knob State Park and a 10 minute drive to the park entrance. The farm is located in the historic Sutherland valley district and was built in 1807 by Thomas Sutherland.

Private Cabin Nestled on 15 acres in the Woods

This lovely weekender or longer-term getaway retreat is +- 750 square feet of cozy comfortable space. It is a very nicely appointed rustic cabin of modern studio design. It has everything you need for that affordable vacation away from it all and is nestled on a prominent site among 15 surrounding acres of lush forest. Build a fire in the wood burning fireplace or outside in the firepit. Grill outside, sit and listen to the birds.
