Independence Lodge is a unique property in the forest, 2 miles from the Clarion River and 4 miles from Cook Forest State Park! This is an off-grid type experience for adventure seekers and nature lovers. Who needs WiFi or indoor plumbing when you have majestic pine forest and the spirit of adventure?! Coleman Creek Lodge, Cook Forest

This green two-story forest lodge adjacent to Cook Forest State Park. Owner's Note: This Lodge has a unique layout perfect for no more than 2 adults and 2 small children. The lower level has an open floor plan with kitchen and living area. There is a staircase leading up to the second floor open loft master bedroom, with a queen size bed, and enclosed bathroom. The children's bunkbeds are in an open alcove at the top of the stair way.

The guest house is a 20 x 16 ft. studio which sits on 115 acres of woods and fields with great views just outside Brookville. It is approximately 20 yards from the main house and equipped with a queen bed, a sofa, full bath with walk in shower, and small refrigerator, toaster oven, microvave, and TV. The property has multiple walking trails and is situated approximately 5 miles from Route 80. It is also close to Cook's Forest, the Clarion River, and Punxsutawney.
