Hand Built Log Cabin

This cabin was completed in 1940 by previous owner's grandmother with only the help of her horses. The wood was cut from the property. Originally it had no electric or plumbing, we updated it more in 2021 keeping as much original as possible. Rustic cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower only, washer and dryer, full eat in kitchen and living room. On site you can relax watching horses, mini horses, goats, chickens & ducks as well as wild life. You can feed and pet the 🐐 goats.

Private 2 bed Home - 5 min from I-55-nature views

Relax with family at this peaceful place to stay. We have two bedrooms and 1 bath. There is a nice patio to enjoy your morning coffee. At the end of a gravel road, you have all the privacy you could wish for. Very basic setup but that’s really all you need when you’re away from home. There is a 50 in. tv in the living room & good internet speeds. The home is on a well and has a sulfur smell. The water is tested and treated. It is safe.

This lovely rural cottage is nestled back in the woods on its very own private acre of land. It offers guests a beautiful getaway experience while at the same time being just a 7 minute drive from downtown Eureka with its many delicious restaurants and adorable boutiques. Six Flags is a brief 10 minute drive, and Purina Farms is 15. We have ample parking for multiple vehicles and a completely fenced in yard great for 4 legged friends.
