Cuilabhaila, Arran: sea front with stunning views

Cuilabhaila, (‘Coola valla’) is Gaelic for "edge of the village", and is ideally located on the beach front in Lamlash. Built in 1896 the house offers spacious Victorian rooms with high ceilings, and original features. Warm yourself by the log stove after a swim, or sit in the conservatory to watch the seals. The large private back garden is ideal for relaxing but for the more energetic the house is within easy walking distance of the golf course, restaurants and the pier for an ice-cream.

Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a unique 18th Century lime washed stone cottage located a short distance from Whiting Bay. As a Category B listed building of architectural and historic interest, Rose Cottage is believed to be a long house typical of the Western Isles. A delightful home in a peaceful rural location, oozing charm and maintaining much of the original character. Accommodation comprises a large open plan lounge area with galleried mezzanine, kitchen, bathroom and one double room.

Springwell cottage has been recently renovated. Centrally heated with living room underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. Can sleep 4 adults and 2 infants or 2 adults and 2 children. We accept a max of 2 well behaved dogs no larger than a Labrador. Separate garden for guests use. Safe little beach and swings just across the road . Start of the Goatfell path 5 min walk away. Corrie hotel bar 5 min walk and dog friendly Also Mara seafood cabin and Deli take away or eat in .

Sea Breeze East - open fire & views of the Clyde

Located in the north Arran village of Lochranza, this house is an ideal jumping off place for hiking, visiting Arran’s attractions or for a day-trip to Kintyre. By day, enjoy watching the yachts come and go and catch sight of some of Arran’s wildlife. In the evening, cozy up in front an open fire after taking in one of Arran’s long sunsets. Please note the property may not be suitable for children under 5 and I don't provide any baby/child equipment (eg stair gates).

Cosy and full of character, this charming ‘C’ Listed cottage sits just behind the iconic Hamilton Terrace in the heart of Lamlash, only steps from the beach and 5 mins from Lamlash Golf course. With 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 guests, it’s perfect for couples, friends or small families. Please note: the stairs are steep, so not suitable for the infirm or young children. We recommend travel insurance as island travel can be affected by weather or ferry delays.

Outside, the extensive garden and grounds comprising of mainly lush green lawns, mature woodland, wild flower areas and a portion of the Carmel Water which is a tributary of the River Irvine. The garden has various sitting areas strategically positioned to catch the sun. The private driveway leads to the house and there is parking for three vehicles.

Five minutes drive to Blackwaterfoot where you'll find local shops, golf course, riding stables, swimming pool and sandy beach. Mill Barn is central to travelling anywhere on the Island. The main ferry port in Brodick is less than 20 minutes drive away. If you are bringing bikes there is a lockable shed in the garden for storage.
