We didn’t even mean to book this Airbnb and Jacob was so kind to let us check in the next day instead. Very beautiful, well taken care of home, 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

Very peaceful, clean, and not far from volcanoes national park. It's very secluded and quiet, so we had a blast freaking out our teenagers .

I love how the place was decorated of the Star Wars theme. My boys are huge fans of the franchise. The kids had lots of fun seeing all the decor, playing with toys, and adults played the board games. The house was very spacious for a group of 11 of us. The house is cool because the lava burned down the house next door and there are steam vents now in front and all around the property making it look like a land from Star Wars. There was A/C in the home which was great because it can get warm and humid sometimes. There was still hair in the shower in the main bedroom but I think it’s because the hosts maybe live there and it was booked last minute. The host greeted us and showed us the place quickly and they made sure we had everything we needed. The house was pricey but super cool for one night and worth it to see my boys nerd-out for one night and just be in awe with all the cool decor.

This is a nice getaway a little higher up and into the cooler air. We always prefer it if possible, and with enough windows we didn't even need the AC. A newer built area so not a lot of neighbors, and a great view down to the coast. We love the coqui frogs at night, kind of funny someone complained but I guess if you're not used to them Large space was perfect for us

This is a very pleasant, comfortable house - nicely decorated and very functional. Hawi is a very charming and historic small town, off the beaten track and very peaceful, with a main street within walking distance from the house. We also liked the nicely laid out kitchen and the adjacent laundry room. With three grandkids, two at fifteen years and one at seven, we put everything to good use! Throughout our week in the house, Michael, Charlotte, and Maleigha were exceptionally responsive, friendly hosts. We'd love to visit again.

Absolutely beautiful home in a beautiful location. Very peaceful and quiet. The perfect place for a tranquil getaway. All the amenities anyone could ask for as well as accommodating hosts.

This is a beautiful location with a very calm and serene pond and Koi fish! It has a wonderful porch with lots of chairs, and the bathrooms are fantastic. You are right next to the ocean and can walk right over to experience the waves and the surf. And there is a gate at the end of the driveway that helps you feel secure. It’s a very nice home and I’m glad we chose it!

Loved our stay. We stayed four days and we are sorry to be leaving such a comfortable and spacious home. The location is beautiful. The house has everything you could wish to feel at home: great bedrooms, well furnished kitchen, ping pong room, kid friendly, lots of books and very responsive hosts to make our stay perfect.

The place was exactly as described. It was very clean and well organized. All the stuff in the unit were high quality, all worked well. Really only issue is development is under some construction and some of the front parking was sort of closed off while the back by the unit was under construction as well. Very minor and I would recommend to anybody to stay there.

Very comfortable condo. Was great for our adult family. Used the beach wagon and beach towels a bunch of times. There was snorkel gear, but we had our own. Was great to have a very nice washer and dryer in the unit. Kitchen was adequately equipped for when we ate in. It was great to have so many close shopping and restaurant options within walking distance. Airconditioning was great, especially with ceiling fans to circulate ite air. The parking garage was a little worrisome. At first it looked like our big suv would be too tall, but there was about 3 inches clearance. A little tight getting around the temporay foundation supports in the garage, but it worked out. Nice to have convenient parking. We would definately rent this condo again. Host is wonderful. Very quick responses each time we contacted him.

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for my fiancè and I, in terms of space. Loved being able to cook breakfast every day, enjoyed the comfy couch, and eating some meals on the balcony overlooking the water. Great location as well in terms of restaurants and beaches. We'd stay here again!

This place was great,we walked into a beautiful home,a basket filled with fresh local fruit was beautiful and delicious. That was a very thoughtful act of kindness. Our family of 7 totally enjoyed our visit.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of room, very well stocked kitchen, clean, beautiful yard to sit and watch the nature, close to restaurants, shopping, beaches, and activities. Mike and Melissa (and Sheryl!) are wonderful hosts, and their place is spacious and comfortable—me and my dog, Margot, felt instantly at home. They were super friendly with great recommendations, and the apartment is private and quiet, yet super convenient to town and all of Kona’s lovely beaches. Would recommend to anybody!

Great stay! Best host I’ve ever had in all my stays with Airbnb. Responsive, communicative. Went out of his way to make sure we had all we needed; for example, purchased a brand new high chair so we wouldn’t need to pack one. Really nice home. Pool was great.

Erin and Bernie were amazing hosts, and their place in Kona was perfect for our stay! The home was clean, well-equipped, and had a warm, welcoming vibe. They provided great local tips and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was ideal! Close to beaches, restaurants, and all the best spots in Kona. We would absolutely stay here again!

Walter has a beautiful place with awesome views of the sunsets. It is remote, so you definitely need to get a car. Great recommendations for food. Walter was very friendly and super responsive for anything we needed. One thing to note for future renters, the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms are slatted for increased airflow. This does make sound travel, so privacy within your group may be limited.

Darin was very responsive in any questions or requests that I had. Getting to the home was kinda tricky as it is located on a somewhat busy road. The home is also not visible from the road. Overall, once you found the place, Darin’s home is intimate and peaceful. Located just minutes away from shopping centers, grocery stores and Costco.

Hilo is a great place to visit, volcano park, beaches, Hilo and Ola Breweries. Jims place was a retreat, an escape to real hawaiian living. We fed the koi, relaxed while surrounded by orchids and palms. We had a great stay and would book again.

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Janice was so kind and communicated great with us. The view is even better in person and the house was bigger in person too! Everything pictured is better than you can imagine. We saw turtles from the cliff every day! Hot tub was fun and so were the games. Neighborhood was great for walks and everyone is so friendly. We did not want to leave!

It was a pleasant surprise that we found instant noodles, rice and rice cooker, electric cooktop when we get in. There were 4 cans of beers and some canned food. This served us very well in the evening since we had a heavy lunch and did not want to go out to eat in a restaurant. The room is well equipped with all necessities. We enjoyed a very good stay. 没想到，这里有电饭锅和大米， 还有方便面和罐头午餐肉。太好了！想得太周到了！

Tolles Glamping-Erlebnis! Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und freundlich eingerichtet. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Es gab alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich zum Campen wünschen kann. Das alles mit toller Aussicht und netten Gastgebern.

This is the longest my family and I have stayed at any Airbnb for a trip (9 nights) and we were happy we chose Jennifer's place for our extended stay! Needless to say, we felt like we were at home the entire time. Jennifer is very welcoming and friendly, often chatting with us on the front porch along with her dogs and cat Tyrone. She was kind enough to bring us several tasty homemade treats, which made it feel that much more special. The space itself was more than enough space for our family of 3. The open concept living area was perfect for making food in the fully stocked kitchen, hanging out watching TV and playing board games, and relaxing after long days at the beach. The porch has all the beach stuff we needed, including boogie boards, snorkel gear and lounge chairs. The house is in a super secluded location to ensure optimal peace. My 7 year old loved talking to the cows, seeing colored birds and discovering Chameleons. All in all a great stay. Highly recommend!
