Close to beach, city, cafes and airport

My place is in a quiet street close to the beautiful south coast of Wellington, a casual stroll to the beach, a short bus ride to the city centre, local cafes and restaurants and a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. It's ideal for couples and business travellers. Free and reliable Wifi, Freeview TV and DVD . Come and enjoy sunset walks on the beach, our local brewery, a cosy cinema with great café and you will be spoilt for choice with lots of places to eat ethnic foods (dine in or take away).

Location, location, location!

A quiet and cozy city fringe studio boasting prime position in its perfect location. Peaceful, private, and securely nestled into a greenbelt nook, away from roads, with a lovely, elevated view. My returning guests love how close we are to the city, yet you'll feel you’ve escaped it. You can get to the airport quickly, and directly access native bush walks. Our unique village hosts Wellington's best bakery and Chocolatier! Grab a bite and a beverage here or jump on a bus heading into the city.

Hidden gem by the sea.

Awesome spacious 1 bedroom unit split over 2.5 levels. Right across the road from the beach. Only 50 metres from a lovely cafe. Sea views from top deck off a very spacious bedroom. Walk in wardrobe upstairs off bedroom. Modern bathroom downstairs with kitchen, dining area with dining table and pool table area. Fully furnished with parking right at the front door. Washing machine for your convenience. Couch and projector screen on Mezzanine floor for your enjoyment. New Heat pump installed.

Self contained small private studio for singles or couples. Views overlooking Island Bay valley. Five minute walk downhill to the shops, cafes and a cinema nearby. A regular bus service to city and a 10 minute drive to the airport. Comfortable double bed, sink bench, microwave, bench oven, fridge, Nespresso machine, smart TV with Netflix and free WiFi. Outside areas to sit and relax. On street parking. This space is ideal for guests who prefer well-planned compact living. Hosts live upstairs.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

Lyall Bay Studio

This is a studio unit under our house with own access from street. There is no outdoor space. Comfortable queen bed, electric blankets. The couch is not a bed. Washing machine/dryer, and washing powder supplies. Kitchen has hot plates, microwave and small bench top oven. Fridge and freezer. Sky TV. Open robe for storage. Ensuite has toilet, basin, shower, no bath. Unit is stylish and well designed, and in great condition. There is space for a SMALL car to park directly outside.

A charming well appointed 2 bedroom self-contained apartment with a private courtyard, sheltered and sunny. Situated on the ground floor in a leafy quiet street off the South Coast beach. Off-street parking and easy ground floor access. Suitable for kids and elderly. Perfect to explore the rugged South Coast and watch the seals. Close to shops and town with good, frequent bus connections. 15min drive to airport, ideal for early-bird flights. 30min drive to ferries.

You'll be in the heart of a wildlife reserve, yet only 12 mins to the city centre and airport, and 5 mins to the shops, cafes, bars & cinemas. It is nature at its wildest on the edge of the city.

Lyall Bay Vista - great location, stunning views

Enjoy your stay in Wellington at this cozy, comfortable unit complete with everything you need in a home-away-from-home. Perched on Melrose hill, this self-contained unit is in a great location in between Wellington Airport and the city, and provides fantastic views overlooking Lyall Bay, and the Airport. Please note we (owners of the property) live on the top floor, above this unit. The unit is up 35 steps from the street, with no accessible access.
