The Sandy Feet Retreat is private and peaceful, perfect for your next getaway. Relax in the mornings with an ocean sunrise or enjoy the evenings at the nearby restaurant and bar providing Australian seafood. Private access offers excellent beach fishing for whiting, salmon, bream and flathead, whilst the sparse mangroves are a haven for mudcrab, all within minutes walking distance. The beach is perfect for beach combing and a chance to see turtles, dugongs and the abundant native birdlife.

The Garden Shed

Once a 1950's built carport, now a cosy cabin within a garden. It's unique, it's artistic, it oozes creativity and it was built almost entirely by us. The main room features a comfortable queen bed, a Smart TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, and a few other appliances. Through the french doors your find a small outdoor cooking station, sink and a bar. A few metres further into the heart of the garden you have your own cute little pergola with a table for two.

Pegasus Horse Park and Farm-stay

Pegasus Horse Park is on 33 acres. The rural views from this elevated position on the side of Mount Barmoya are exceptional. Our Guests like the sunset views from the deck beside the spa. We encourage guest to walk down the lane, feed and pat horses, try the swing down near the dam and generally relax and take it all in. The Capricorn coast is on your doorstep offering great beaches, fine dining, pubs and clubs, the best swimming lagoon in Queensland and much more.

Misty Mountain Cabin

My place is close to great views and plenty of wildlife. It is great for romantic getaways or exploring the rainforest to see birds, platypus in the creek at Broken River or just to hang out. The name "Eungella" means "land of cloud" so when you wake up in the morning you will likely be surrounded by thick cooling cloud which clears by about 9am to a beautiful sunny day with the wildlife just waiting to be discovered! Eungella is over an hour from Mackay.

PALME - King Bed, Deck Views, Privacy, Space

Australian Host of the Year Awards 2024 - Finalist Relaxation plus, and you've got it all to yourselves - a separate private apartment in a tropical garden. Unusually, you'll find plenty of inside space along with a breezeway and large deck overlooking Keppel Bay and Yeppoon. There's a King bed, comfy sofa, wifi, 55" smart TV, dining table and high-quality kitchen and bathroom. Note: Access is via 2 brick staircases from street and garden levels.

Rosmarie and Manfred Widmer extend to you, a warm and friendly welcome to their private piece of paradise overlooking picturesque Grasstree Beach. The private cottage is ideally situated on a hilltop, overlooking subtropical bushland, our own mango farm, the ocean and an in-ground pool.
