Our 5 wilderness cabins are uniquely hand crafted by the owner Angelo with locally and custom built beds, stained glass windows, carvings and themed iron rails. All cabins have water views from your sheltered deck and are footsteps away from a communal cook space. Our central location is a PERFECT start for day tripping around the island and you are just footsteps away from North River Kayak Tours. Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Boat House - Tiny House Oceanfront Resort

The Boat House is a finely crafted tiny home designed like the warm hull of a boat, with wood beams and ocean views. Enjoy a cozy living space, full kitchen, fast WiFi, and bathroom. There are two lofts, a primary with a queen bed, accessed by a custom staircase, and a second with a double bed accessed by ladder. Relax by the fire, BBQ, or explore the water included kayaks & SUPs. Perfect for a couples retreat or small families. No pets. Discounts applied for stays longer than 1 night.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Slow down and discover an enchanted place full of warmth, charm and distinctive amenities. Chic cabin, surrounded on three sides by woods, with a spectacular view of the Cape Breton Highlands. Just off the famous Cabot Trail, blocks from the sea, though still within town, enjoy quiet and convenience. Wood fired hot tub and pizza oven. (Wood provided) Five minute walk to the lovely L'abri restaurant and bar, just a little further to The Doryman music venue.

The perfect vacation! Beautiful large property that backs onto sandy Port Hood beach. 5 min walk to 90 km of gravel bike path, restaurants, ice cream, and 30 mins to Cabot Golf Courses. The cottage has a large screened sun room and 3 outdoor deck spaces to relax and enjoy spectacular sunsets. High speed internet, fully equipped kitchen, and BBQ. Have fun outside with 2 stand-up-paddle boards, kayak, 2 adult bikes, life jackets, and an out door fire place!
