The Jaybird Nest

Snuggle into this little camper, perfect for the Biennale, or any impromptu visit to Bombay Beach! Please note: The property is a constant work in progress; I am continually expanding/building it out, so this listing will keep evolving with new offerings. The Jaybird is only for a solo traveler or a couple. I have water hooked up on the property, but not electricity. Therefore, this is ideal if you are looking for one step above camping. However, welcome to town, this is what it’s all about!

Located in Bombay Beach, just half a block from the beach, a 32-foot 1980s Layton trailer sits tucked away behind the main house under a shaded eucalyptus tree. It is fully set up to be the perfect getaway for your desert adventure! Ideally suited for two guests, the space is kept entirely original and decorated with unique artwork. It offers a kitchen, bath, cozy bedroom, and living space, plus an outdoor dining area, grill, firepit, parking, and a second bathroom with a shower and laundry.
